I was looking for an experienced stereo installer, there are not many around. After talking with a few people I ended up going to see Luis at Pro Stereo Installation in San Mateo. At first I wanted to upgrade from a stock head unit to an Apple Carplay and backup camera in my 20 year old Audi A4. Luis did an amazing install and everything works great! Then, my wife’s car, a 15 year old Outback Wagon, was ready for the same treatment. Apple Carplay headunit, backup camera and also it needed the Japanese only install kit that allows the double din to fit in the dash. After ordering parts from Japan and buying the Carplay and backup camera gear, we were ready to install. Again, Luis did an outstanding job….super clean, very nice work! Then I decided I wanted a little bass and went back to luis to add that and sure enough, same awesome install again. Safe to say that now with the Carplay we have all the great features in our 15 and 20 year old cars! Full nav, extra power for the music, backup cameras for safety and very modern touches to our well kept older models. Awesome and dedicated service and solution finders! The car I purchased for my son didn't have all the regular bluetooth audio options and had an older cable interface that wouldn't allow the phone to be charged while installed, which in today's world of cell phone GPS and bluetooth audio meant my son would have to choose between music or GPS. We went everywhere and to everyone, did internet research...nothing, nada. Came to Pro Audio and dealt with one very kind gentlemen who then contacted another coworker/owner (Aaron) who was on an off day. Aaron researched and researched and met with me to test an option and then more research. Long story short, he tracked down literally the ONLY solution that would work and referred me to make the purchase myself in order to save money. So, we got the solution we wanted for less than $100 and we purchased it ourselves. Pro Auto Stereo Installation cared more about my happiness and got me the perfect solution and spent loads of time and didn't make even $1 from the help they gave me. My 2013 Camry audio system wasn't ideal from the day I bought the car new, and then it started going haywire over the past year.
