Our waiter didn't want to deal with us after we didn't order margaritas. Instead we got a quiet guy who barely spoke. The prices are high, and the food was extremely disappointing. I ordered the $14 enchilada plate (2 enchiladas with rice and beans), and received foul tasting beans, watery enchilada sauce, and enchilada's covered with a thick layer of flavorless cheese. They also somehow managed to screw up guacamole. At $6.40 for a dipping bowl of guacamole with stale chips, what we got was half-mashed avocado with a bit of tomato in it. There was no cilantro, lemon, lime, garlic, onion, or even salt in the guacamole. It was flavorless mash. After setting my plate aside for ~20 minutes, we eventually flagged down a waiter and told him to take it all away. He asked no questions about why the plates were less than half eaten, didn't comp anything, and brought us our bill. Not once during our meal did someone check if we were enjoying our food, or ask to refill drinks. Waiters walked past us several times after we stopped eating.

This is the first time I have ever left no tip. The food was sub-par at best, the guacamole was insultingly bad, the prices were very high for what we got, and the service...

Worst Mexican meal I have ever had. : (

My friend and I waited for 10 minutes and then I went into the restaurant to ask server to wait on us. It appeared the restaurant was understaffed.

We started with chips and guacamole. Both the chips and guac were bland. The chips had no salt and tasted like cardboard. We then ordered fajitas...mine was beef and my friend's was chicken.

Sorry I didn't order the chicken as the beef...which was supposed to be steak...appeared to be a round steak cut into small pieces. It was grisly, dry and tough to chew and sauteed in some sort of tomato-based sauce. I have never had fajitas served like that.

The side plates of beans and rice arrived lukewarm. And again, no seasoning on either. To top it off, we spent $35 each without alcohol...way overpriced as far as I am concerned.

It was also dark on the sidewalk and it wasn't until we were about finished that they turned on the floodlights to light up our food. Tiny votives would have been a nice touch.

The place was busy so perhaps it was an off night. But we certainly...

I was fine until I got the bill... My margarita at first was too sour so I asked him to fix it but the way they did that was by upgrade to get to a Cadillac margarita without telling me. I thought I was so gross in the standard stuff that was just made better so I ordered two of them. Only to find out it was at a much higher price when I came to pay! Not happy. I originally ordered a chalupa thinking that the shell would be crunchy and it came very soggy and thick so I returned it and got a tostada instead. Same price and much better. When I pointed out the air on the margarita as I was leaving, they proceeded to tell me that the only way that it could be made not so sour was to make it sweet by turning it into a Cadillac margarita which it was only a dollar more. I protested that the amount I saw online was different than the amount they charged me. They argue the point and then told me they were going to honor it but to never come back!...

I've been here a few times now and it always feels like a fiesta. We walked in just when the lights dimmed, then came back on to party lights with music playing "feliz cumpleanos" to a family in the dining room. So fun! My partner and I grabbed a seat at the bar. A few minutes later, a tequila tasting was being set up. We were quickly served by our bartender. We ordered the sizzling fajitas which the two of us shared. The steak and chicken were super tender and the seasoning gave it that perfect grilled flavoring. For gluten-free, they served me soft corn tortillas and my partner the flour ones. My tortillas were a good size nor did it taste chalky. Margaritas are always so big, and as a lightweight drinker one was enough. The guys at the tequila tasting served us some free shots, my favorite is shown. What a great place for happy hour!

I ordered quesadilla vampiro, guacamole and tacos with pork. Everything was tasty except the quesadilla vampiro was dry, on an almost burnt tortilla, which was okay, but there was no cheese anywhere on it. I asked the waiter Where's the cheese? He pointed under the burnt tortilla. It wasn't under there but I figured they just made a mistake. I never got silverware, but I ate like in Mexico, with just tortillas. I ordered three margaritas (one single, two doubles, all patron silver) $90.00 for the drinks alone. I paid less at the Cerulean towers, an exclusive high rise downtown in Tokyo. I'm sure the food is great here, although I only ordered a few simple sides. Over all, I'll never go back, it just didn't add up right. The plate on the right was called a quesadilla vampira. I guess I got bit.

A return visit to this wonderful neighborhood restaurant because we loved it so much the first time, we had to come back to explore more of the menu. We were not disappointed at all on this visit, and absolutely everything was delicious! Not pictured is the delicious guacamole, salsa, and fresh chips, and extremely tasty mango margaritas because we were so famished that we devoured them as soon as they were placed in front of us 😏. The service is impeccable and the food savory and mouthwatering. This will be our regular go-to treat for us to enjoy with out family and friends!
