Grocery Outlet — Local services in San Rafael

There is poor customer service from the employees. The cashier named Rosie dropped one of my purchases on the ground, so I asked her to have someone to get another one. She told me to get it. It was all the way in the back of the store. Once again I told her to have someone get another one and she repeated herself and told me to get it. Finally I told her to delete the item from my receipt. This Rosie cashier looked about eight years old which is way to young to be working.

I then talked to Gustavo the manager and there was no apology from him and he almost defended the horrible Rosie cashier. And he too provided bad customer service.

They do have some nice items at discount prices. Not all their prices are better than other stores.

I was there about two years ago and there was an $8 error on my receipt.

Interesting selection for the most part. I’ve found many items that I really enjoy here. However, the customer service is really lacking. There’s only ever 1 check stand open every time I’ve been in, and no one calls for more. One time instead of helping, I saw two workers doing a puzzle (???) the managers were no better, I’ve only had an issue with product twice (both quality issues with the store at fault) and was treated like I was the problem for wanting my money back. Gotta pay attention to prices here because they're playing games. This store is beyond busy, they don't need to raise prices so why did they? Last week the rice bags were 4 dollars and change, and now they're 6.99 for what? I know how their pricing works and they are definitely getting pure profit off of that. Highly disappointing considering most of the cashier's are rude and have ZERO customer service in the evening. The morning cashier is the only good one! Other grocery outlet don't over price things, so I will be shopping at one who doesn't exploit customers going...
