As a parent, choosing the right summer camp can feel like an overwhelming decision, but sending my child to Mountain Camp Marin was, without a doubt, the best choice I ever made! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this camp is something special.

My daughter spent her days immersed in a variety of adventures—archery, swimming,drama, etc. and participated in team-building activities that encouraged independence and confidence. The balance of structured activities and free exploration allowed her to try new things while also discovering her own interests.

What really stood out to me was the incredible staff. The counselors are warm, attentive, and truly invested in creating a safe, inclusive, and fun environment. They went above and beyond to make every camper feel seen and valued.

As a parent, I also appreciated the open communication. We received updates and photos throughout the session, which gave me peace of mind and a glimpse into what the campers were doing.

Mountain Camp Marin has been such a great experience for our boys, Carter and Jack! Every day they came home with huge smiles, fun stories, and so much excitement about what they did. The staff is awesome—so friendly and enthusiastic, and you can tell they really care about the kids.

Carter and Jack loved all the activities and especially got into the structured badge award system. It was such a fun way to keep them motivated and proud of what they accomplished. They made new friends, learned a bunch of new skills, and spent their days outside in the most beautiful setting.

Our 12-year old daughter loves Mountain Camp Marin! We just completed our second year at this camp and highly recommend it for it’s compassionate and passionate counselors, variety of activities, and exposure to children of all ages.

The camp is highly organized and communicates ahead and during camp. Our top reasons we chose this camp are: location at Mark Day School campus, experience at an affiliated camp (Farm Camp) was positive, variety of activities offered, and lunch offering.
