Bishops' Storehouse — Local services in Sandy

Wow! Came here a while ago to help a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints receive their food for some food help that they needed. They had all sorts of food! Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and perishables. I've heard the chocolate milk there is really good. The people who took our paper when we came in were super kind and respectful to my friend even though she looked like she needed help. Those people at a church must be pretty upstanding. They worked collaboratively packing boxes to stock shelves. It seemed they had some kids there volunteering to help out with it. What work ethic! When we went through there was some scales and it was like a real grocery store but with no money transaction just people volunteering I guess 2 check out others with their food. Baggers as well and even someone to bring empty boxes to pack heavy things in. I saw an older man help some people load their stuff in their car. There was some spiritual hymns softly playing on a stereo in the corner. I was blown away bye all the kind people around who we're not serving begrudgingly but happily to individuals who could clearly be judged for...

It's a very difficult thing to ask for help and admit that you need some. The amazing volunteers at the storehouse never make you feel less then for reaching out. Everyone is so friendly and easy to just chat with as you walk around with them gathering your order. The food is amazing and really appreciated. I'm so grateful for my bishop and the volunteers here. It's setup to feel like a normal grocery store but no cash transactions. Fresh fruits and veggies and canned goods and dry goods all made by the church and honestly are superior to grocery store items.

Now this there's not enough stars on this application for this the bishop storehouse is amazing what the church does for people is amazing our heavenly father puts a lot of amazing people on this Earth and I'll tell you what the church has done amazing things for me and my family and I have not done enough to give back and I pray that one day I'm able to give back only half as much because I don't know if I'll even be able to live long enough there's not enough years in this lifetime in comparison seriously God bless all those that help so wonderful thing the church Storehouse is amazing I have a lot of gratitude in my heart and in...
