It’s obvious that management does not read the reviews because it is very clear that there are numerous complaints about the rude and unprofessional service conducted by your cashiers at the recycling center. There is zero indication that customers are number one! They are so used to dealing with junkies and homeless people, that they feel they can just belittle and disrespect all customers. I know that sending this compliant will not change anything as the ladies are most likely family or friends of the bosses. But if nothing else, let it be documented that they should be disciplined, retrained, and/or replaced. They clearly have no customer service and respect skills, especially Angela Gonzales. Today she chose to not honor my coupon after I removed all “unclean aluminum cans”. So I asked her why and she said because I previously had dirty cans. So I told her that I removed them and that she can’t just not honor the coupon. She responded “well I’m not going to honor it, and that I can go to other local recycling centers.” I responded, “I will do that, after I file a complaint with corporate” and she said “go ahead”, then I told her to get a real job, and she tells me to tell my mom to get a real job!

I don’t want any special treatment, just respect. I’m not asking for anything as I will never do business with ecology again, but I would hope that such a large Corporate Business would take a closer look at what the cashier ladies at the Santa Fe Springs recycling center are doing to...

Those guys hate when I get paid more than their week of pay in 1 haul.The recycling workers are extremely uneducated. They don’t know that 12 gauge wire is electrical wire and try to buy it at computer wire prices. They are either Playing dumb to rip me off or they are literally clueless. They always try to pay me the lowest price by categorizing it a low grade. So every time I have to stand up for myself. I will stop selling them high yield copper from this day forward. So if you do decide to sell them your material, be aware of the skimping tricks. Some examples- they do not center the material on the weigh scale. They record the wrong weight and you get paid less. Remember you will need to stand up for yourself and don’t be shy to speak up if you see a grandmother being taken advantage for her...

This place steals from people they stole from me a copper wire with gold plating on it I new it was gold plated I was just checking if they were going to be honest and tell me about it and they didn't also they denied me with service because of a proof of address like a bill and when they return my stuff they kept a copper pipe which was the most valuable metal I had .. and their scale is not weighted by lbs so they could confuse people because it's harder for a person to check for himself how many pounds he took and check how many money he needs to receive because if you think about it if they did put on the display of the scale to show pounds you could easily check with your phone how many money you're supposed to get for your recycling never will do recycle in this...
