Furniture South — Local services in Santa Rosa Beach

It was such a blessing to walk in Furniture South & be greeted by Bridget, with her big smile & Southern personality! We are from Memphis & I was down there to select all of our furniture for our new beach home. I felt such a big responsibility to select everything by myself! Bridget made me feel so comfortable. There was no pressure, she let me take my time & was never pushy like so many in sales do. Instead, she let me think things over. Worked with me in the store but also from a distance if I were back in Memphis. She would send me updates, pictures of new things that might work. She even went out to our house as it was being built to send me pictures of how things were going, measure areas for furniture, or contact me with a sweet hello. I was assured any furniture I ordered they would store for me till our house was finished. The builders took much longer than we were first told but she always made me feel it wasn’t a problem. We cannot say enough great things about this location to purchase furniture! My husband and I had searched high and low from Fort Walton to Destin to Panama City going into many different furniture stores until we finally decided to walk into Furniture South in Santa Rosa Beach. As we walked in, we were instantly greeted by a lovely woman named Shirley. She asked us how we were and if we needed help with anything. We told her we were just looking and wanted to browse to look for some furniture items to go in our new house. She allowed us to look around and was not pushy but also came and helped us when need be. She took the time to look at our pictures of our new house and suggest options of what furniture items would look good in various rooms. We walked away that day and did not purchase, but we ended up coming back two days later and purchasing everything we needed from her because she was so knowledgeable, kind and helpful. Although previous review from owner says customer service is what they do well, That is under individual interpretation..

Wife and I arrived to buy 2 nightstands.. It was like 4pm we walked in store and no one was even around to greet us ....😕

We would have spent 1k on 2 nightstands we loved but knew our purchase would not be appreciated.....

After walking around in store a older lady came out of the back to greet us...

Wife and I said to ourselves let's go somewhere where we are greeted once we enter and feel awesome about our purchase and service!! This we did not feel...It felt like we were in a less fashionable establishment... . Oh well all businesses are different..we left not spending a dime!! Unfortunately..

Probably never return..based on the previous reviews I see online...
