Let’s start off with very disappointing with the food. I asked twice if it was like the picture with Yakisoba with the thick noodles… she said yes. When the order came back it was angel noodles thin & dry as heck! Also my friend order fried rice only with green onion, and egg & since she used to work there Jerika (our waiter) & said they a little too busy for special orders??? Okay…. So what’s the problem so since you know her we get the end of the stick & can’t have a custom request mind you they do it other times… we get it’s busy but sometimes ppl like to subtract certain things off… get to it when you can but don’t deny someone’s order because of how busy it is… Coco talked over my Vegetable Gyoza to tell my friend they couldn’t make her special rice & seen spit come down on to them. At the time mind you these are appetizers I just sent them back but when the Yakisoba came & seen how dry & angel pasta (never seen Yakisoba with thin angel pasta) also Jerika confirmed with me it was exactly what the picture is, is what I’ll be getting which was a lieeeee. They brought the boss back to look he tried to convince me it’s what it is as is but I confirmed with Jerika that it was as the picture previously. I would have never ordered it with angel like pasta it’s NOT the same at all. As the boss approached our table to speak to us Jerika walked away giving me faces all the way to the cashier as we agree it’s not what I wanted & to remove from bill. So much attitude!! I asked for her name & refused & said “I’m not giving you my name I don’t need to” with such heavy attitude. I wanted it to make this review but seen it on the receipt paper! Bingoooo. I would not go back there plus flavor isn’t as good twice we tried this place. Hope they keep it professional I shouldn’t have to talk to three ppl to express how I was disappointed in what I receive . Change the pictures from the menu because clearly it’s not as...
Read moreI would like to start off by saying that I don’t like writing bad reviews because I’ve been in the service industry for 6 years and know most are bogus. I can’t rate the food/drinks because we never even got a chance to try them. We arrived at 7:30 (with a reservation for this time) and sat at a hibachi table for 30 minutes before even being acknowledged. We were clearly deliberately being ignored because the man who finally came to take our order around 8:00 WAS THE SAME MAN WHO SAT US. When he finally came, he breezed over the apology mentioning they were short-staffed. That would be fine. IF somebody had at least acknowledged us when we sat down and gotten us waters. We told him we were a little upset with the wait and asked if everything else would take as long because we were hungry and contemplating going somewhere else. He simply said “that’s fine” and walked away. The only positive thing someone said to us was after we walked out. A woman offered to serve us even though she wasn’t a server there(possibly a friend/family member of the owners) but she was clearly on her way home and we weren’t going to ask her to do that. She was the only person who showed any concern. As a server, I am appalled at the treatment we received. I understand that we were a party of seven and they were in the weeds, but you can’t just let a table go 30 minutes without even greeting them and getting drinks. I wish we could have tried the food because the reviews were so good, but we were not prepared to spend the entire evening thirsty and waiting. Sorry guys,...
Read moreI don't often stop for Japanese, but I had heard good things about this restaurant and decided dinner after a movie would be a good way to end the day. I was not disappointed. I was greeted immediately and welcomed. Ordered shrimp dumplings for an appetizer, and they were excellent. Tender, lightly fried, with a mild taste. The dipping sauce was an excellent pungent accent. Dinner was chicken and shrimp hibachi. It came with miso soup, salad, and fried rice. The soup was excellent with a delicate aroma and flavor that was pleasing. The hibachi was tender, the shrimp had excellent flavor, the chicken was tender, and the sauce was rich and flavorful without being overly salty. The rice was not strong but well cooked. I added a little extra sauce to it, and it was perfect. I rounded out my meal with hot tea. Overall, it was a very...
