The Rental Shop 30A — Local services in Santa Rosa Beach

Don't consider anyone else when renting bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs, bicycles or enjoying a warm S'mores sunset bonfire... We would recommend THE RENTAL SHOP 30A over any other 30A beach equipment supplier. Ashley and Noah, family owners and operators, went above and beyond to make our family vacation a memorable one. We suggest calling ahead to rent from them during high season. Each time we called we felt like we were talking to a good friend or neighbor. Ashley was extremely friendly and patient as we had a lot of questions and concerns about the rental shops endless supply of beach equipment and bonfire options. Both took the time to listen to our concerns and questions even offered to customize packages and to adjust a bike for one of our smaller guests. Even on the busiest of days when we left a message we always received a quick call back from Ashley or Noah. We would suggest texting or calling over email. Noah dropped off our bicycles on Saturday night as promised. He was extremely friendly, helpful and detailed. He made sure to oil each bike, checking to make sure each was aligned and in good working order and wanted to make sure we were satisfied before leaving them with us. The bikes looked absolutely new, high end style, clean and were in top notch condition, very comfortable and much better than the ones at our own cottage, we wished we had rented more. Finally, Aaron from the rental shop already had our bonfire a blazing, S'mores supplies, roasting sticks, 4hrs of wood, chairs and table setup to enjoy the sunset when we arrived. TIP: Bring a radio. He also gave us his contact number if we had any concerns, and was very responsive when we decided to shorten the bonfire event. Ashley and Noah at THE RENTAL SHOP 30A really do care about making your vacation enjoyable and stress free. They go beyond just offering beach equipment, they offer an enjoyable personalized vacation...

This is more of a speculation as as opposed to a review, and this isn't something I would generally do. With that being said...I happened to stumble across a video this morning which resulted in me doing a little research on this company. There isn't a thing I can say that hasn't already been stated, beyond the fact that I have just made up my mind to plan my next beach trip specifically in accordance to your location. Working with the public is one of the most difficult things to do. When doing business I appreciate nothing more than doing it with people that are passionate about what they provide, how they provide it, and who they provide it for. *Every single review I have read is full of nothing but appreciation, its just people thankful for your contributions to the memories they have of being with family and friends. The amount of care that is put into this business is beyond regularities and it's obviously beyond just money. I realize I may sound like a lunatic right about now, but it's quiet refreshing to hear of a business, especially in a tourist destination, to do what you folks are doing. It's literally making me get pumped and that is why I had to comment. I wish you and your families the very best of luck and I absolutely will be looking to put all these amazing reviews to test in the future. *I do realize that there is a single 1 star review and I also seen the legitimate response that was made and there are just some people out there that will not tolerate being happy or take responsibility for their own...

Please don't even consider renting from anyone else!! We just got back from a wonderful week in Santa Rosa. I had forgotten about bike and paddle board rentals until the last minute and ended up calling another company. It was a disaster. I wasted a whole day of precious vacation time waiting on him to deliver 3 Bikes and paddle boards. When he finally got there 10 hours late, the stuff he brought was pure junk -- and he still only brought 2 bikes that looked like they had been bought at Walmart years ago.

Luckily, the next morning I made the right call to Ashley at The Rental Shop. She came right over with beautiful very high quality bikes and 3 brand spanking new paddle boards that were so light and easy to carry to the beach. We also used them for a bonfire on the beach in the middle of the week. Same great service and a true pleasure to do business with. (And their kids are adorable!!)

We will definitely call them every time we are...
