Such a awful company. I purchased my phone back in February 2025. I paid it all in full. Was even overcharged 70 dollars. Was told I'd get a full refund of my 70 dollars within 30days. Its now sept 1st 2025. And still no refund. My wifi isnt even on the current address. Even after having them change my address many times. So I have had enough and wanted to switch company's. Well this greedy company holds your phone hostage even if its paid off. Or was paid in full like I did! I looked online and They only hold their phones in their system for 160 days. So I was like sweet! Its been longer than that! Tried to have metro unlock my device and now they say its 365 days and they are refusing to give me my port pin now. And now holding my phone hostage. Even if I was to wait 365 days. They would just make up another excuse. They are being greedy to those who are already in provertry. Save your self some time and money and switch to mint mobile! Its cheaper and you pay 45 dollars for your first 3 months ( plus a activation for like 10 dollars). So you only pay 55 dollars and you have 3months of service! No bills and no yada yada. Sorry metro you treated this customer of 8years poorly and now...
Read moreJacob & Taylor were both very helpful. I appreciate their efforts to help get me a new phone. Both my husband's phone & my phone had died. I had been using a tablet my husband had bought at Metro. We've been with Metro since 2018. Good standing account. 5 years. My credit card that I used for auto pay with Metro had been being charged with items we did not approve or know about. When I saw what was happening I cancelled my credit card. I had not put the new card on auto pay with Metro yet. I was calling in the payment. One month I didn't call in the payment. We were having serious family emergencies in our family & it slipped my mind. Metro did not turn my service off that month I forgot to pay them...but.... they cancelled my account. Doesn't make a lot of sense does it. Cancelled my account of 5 years...they did not notify me by text or call that they were cancelling...they just did. So...I had to start over. I ended up paying for a new phone. Jacob did find me a good phone for a decent price. Taylor was learning the ropes & she was offering suggestions like a pro. In which we need bc we have a 1 year old.....so now 2 days later phone gets dropped and is now cracked...this could of been prevented had they of had the accessories for the phones they sold us...I had my last phone for OVER a year and it got dropped numerous times but had a screen protector....the phone looks brand fu@&ing new bc it had that accessory on it....now even tho we have insurance, we have to come up with an additional $50 for deductible to replace my new phone after already giving them $200 just 48 hrs ago, bc of THEY'RE mistake of having NO ACCESSORIES.....this is some...
