!!!!Homeowners beware!!! fI hired them to hang a glass shower door. I was quoted $175 for the first hour then every hour after was project based. When I was asked if I thought it was a two person job, I responded that the door was heavy and it might be necessary. I was quoted $350 for two people with the same terms as before. I agreed. I showed up and there was one person. When I asked him if he could calk a cracked window sill and that I had caulk on hand, the tech noted that it was the wrong caulk and that he had a better one in the car. At this time no other pricing was discussed. I was charged $40 extra to repair a 4inch cracked window sill. My total bill, which I have still not received a receipt for was $330.00. I was told it was because he was on sight for two hours. (Lets just say it was an hour and a half) Since I was quoted $350 for two people he thought he was giving me a deal. I'm floored at how this company does business. I called and spoke with the office manager and she said she would speak with management. I've been waiting for a phone call back. I'm doubting I will get that call. !!!!Homeowners beware!!! I was not given an itemized invoice or quoted specifically for the installation of the door. This company allows their tech to charge how they see fit depending on the skill set of the job. I will definitely not be using them again...

THE GOOD- Technician arrived on time & did the work we requested.(Change batteries in 6 Smoke detectors, Hang 5 hooks, Change AC Filter, Wet Vac exterior AC condensation line) We supplied ALL the Materials except screws to hang the hooks (we were charged $39.07 for 10 screws)

THE BAD- Technician provided a quote with no detail for all the tasks that we had requested that was extremely high. We regretfully authorized, because we had smoke detectors that were failing & did not want loud chirping during the night. We wrongfully assumed that after the work was completed an adjustment to the estimate would be made.

THE UGLY- Technician completed the work IN LESS THAN FOUR HOURS and NO ADJUSTMENT TO THE ESTIMATE WAS MADE. Since we provided the Material, the corresponding Labor, Overhead & PROFIT rate was $294.75 per hour. This seems unreasonable for relatively basic handyman services.

Thinking that perhaps the Technician made an error in the Quote, we contacted Mr Handyman-Sarasota & asked for a review of the quote by the Owner. We did not get a response.

We were hoping to use Mr Handyman-Sarasota's services for future preventative maintenance & remodeling projects, but they are TOO EXPENSIVE & NO ONE LIKES...

I hired Me. Handyman to repair some rotten wood on our deck. Jeff and Sammy came to the house for an estimate and said they could start the very next day! Both Jeff and Sammy were absolutely fantastic! They offered suggestions, gave me options, and were extremely easy to talk with. They also answered all of my questions and seriously could not have been any more accommodating. They showed up on time the next morning, worked extremely hard all day long, and finished the job. Jeff and Sammy were extremely professional, punctual, hard-working, kept a clean work environment, were extremely respectful of our home, and seriously could not have been nicer. I cannot say enough good things about this crew, and I sincerely hope that we are able to book them for many handyman services in the future. I only wish everyone provided service in such an over the top manner as Jeff and Sammy! Thank you so very much from the bottom...
