Have known about this place for 30+ years but went for the first time about 20 years ago to get a clasp replaced on the end of a chain. At that time it really was a mom & pop business and the father installed a new lobster claw clasp on my chain. After that I have gone back for other projects and purchases over the years and recently the spring in the lobster claw broke so I went back to them for a repair. Now the son and daughter (Amanda & Nuncio) run the business and they are just as nice as mom & pop use to be. Explained how the spring broke and the bail on my sailboat pendent keeps getting hung/tangled could we modify it to be bigger in hopes it wouldn't get tangled anymore Nuncio took on the task and hit a home run fixing both for me in about a week for a fair price. My neighbor told me about Florentine Jewelry when I was having trouble finding some one to fix my watch. He said they are one of most respected jewelers here beachside, and they do watches. Mine an old mecanical watch, needs a stem and crown, so lady said leave it, might have trouble with parts could be weeks, Left the watch and small deposit and got a call 3wks and it was done. $35.00 or something. Very reasonable for mechanical watch repair. I told the lady I got a good referal to her from neighbor and glad I found them. I had bought my wife's wedding ring here 20 years ago I then bought a ring that was hand made which took three months to make and its absolutely beautiful which was an anniversary ring. Then I had a very unique and beautiful ring and bracelet assessed and fixed that we bought while in Italy that was very hard to match and make perfect again which Nunzio was able to do with perfection.
