I use to like this place until now. Unfortunately, I had gotten sick and was hospitalized. When I was cleared to be able to do things again, I decided to treat myself to a pedi (most expensive one). I started to not feel well after maybe 15 min. The nail tech had already trimmed and scrubbed my heel. I told him that I do not know if it was a good idea to continue. I was literally about to get ill. He offered me water and a fan. I apologized and said that I needed to call my doctor. I wanted to stay but I wanted to be safe and not make a mess at their salon. I paid and left a generous tip. Roy stated to give him a call when I got better so that we could resume the service and asked for my name. I called last night to inquire when I was able to come back and complete the service. They offered to get me first thing in the morning. I showed up and immediately was scolded that I waited 3 weeks and he had already cut my nails and scrubbed. At first, I thought this was a joke as I have NEVER had any issues at this salon but he was serious. I showed him my toes and said, I donât need you to do anything. Iâve cut my nails. But he was still badgering me about it having been 3 weeks ago. And that he had scrubbed my heels. I kept having to defend myself as if I wasnât offered the opportunity to come back to complete the service that I had already paid for. I wasnât asking for anything that wasnât offered or anything other than to complete the service. The approach was uncalled for. His tone was unnecessary. I told him that this was poor service and he knew I was sick and was okay with taking my money and generous tip. If you had an issue then why not say it when I called in yesterday to inquire about completing the service. Or, if you have any issues, clarify over the phone what you are going to do and I would have been...
Read moreFirst experience I ordered the VIP pedicure. I was not asked what kind of scrub I wanted to be used and she did not do the parafin treatment. Then I showed them that a hair was in my thumb nail polish. The application wasn't as thick as the other thumb and looked streaky. The nail polish also started chipping two days later too. For the second experience, I was asked to pick a color. However, I was told it couldn't be applied to my fingertips, just toes, so I'd have to pick a different color, which obviously I didn't want, since the color wouldn't match. However, the last time I was offered colors off a nail color selection sampler/swatch. But this time I chose a color from the OPI nail rack, so maybe that was the difference. Then I said, if I can't have the same color, just do pink and white on my fingers. I asked for dip powder but was told i wanted gel. I was told this more than once so i did not feel like arguing. It smelled bad and I had to tell the nail technician to turn on a nail fan. He also did not fill in the white tips entirely. I had to point out where he missed spots. Lastly, he left nail polish on the underside of my thumbs from when he took off the previous polish and I had to show him so he could wipe it off. Attention to detail was lacking overall, did not understand why I couldn't pick a color that could go on both hands and feet, and did not like being told I wanted gel when i wanted dip powder. Not going back; too many other salons...
