I have been a resident of the apartment complex for 5 years. If you’re looking for a place that’s reasonably priced, move here. The only way to survive is to stay in your house and mind your business. This property has been under AT LEAST 3 management companies since I have been a tenant. This place has a “darkness” over it, a lot of poverty, mental illness, drugs of every kind are PLENTIFUL, grown men sleeping with teenagers, the maintenance only fix the aesthetics of the apartment and not the problem. It’s a step up from the projects, this place is only a stepping stone. My lease was terminated early due to a neighbor harassing me. We were both given the same stipulations but she had section 8 and filed an appeal, so she was allowed to stay and they had to nerve to tell me I still owe rent. Yeah Right! I considered myself a a model tenant during my stay. I was not receiving government assistance, so I didn’t have anyone to fight for me...I was unsettled for a small second because favor was shown to someone who stands on the porch from sun up to sun down advertising sex and trying to make the neighbors miserable. I had to take the higher perspective and realized they did me a favor, what I thought as a loss was really a win...a peace of mind! Even though I was handled unfairly and they refused to dismiss my rent, that’s okay because that former neighbor no longer has anyone to project her b.s on I guess she will find her next victim to antagonize and be miserable. It was home for me and I am still thankful! P.S. this place will suck you in it you let it,...
Read moreMy husband and I have a toddler. Upon pulling up to the rental house we saw children wandering outside with no adult in site and 3 police cars at one of the apartment complexes. After we parked our car, we got out and stood by our car to smoke a cigarette after driving from Hinesville. A middle aged African American woman who worked at the rental house approached us and very rudely told us that we cannot smoke here and that it will make the property look bad among other very rude and judgmental words. We looked around to see if maybe we failed to see a non smoking sign somewhere. Being the polite type of person we are, we put out our cigarettes and quietly took out our toddler to go inside the rental house so not to seem as though we came there just to smoke a cigarette. I had no intention of renting from a business that employed someone like her! But as we picked up an application, a younger African American male approached us and made us feel very at home after the horrible words the older woman had said to us. I wish we hadn't had met the older woman who looked uglier than her words. I can over look a lot of things but having someone with an attitude like the older woman had was enough to scare us away. No sense of customer service, friendliness, or respect......the complex was an absolute reflection of her! Stay away from this cheaply...
Read moreThe rent is affordable, and the people in my building are quiet and respectful. The new office staff are polite and helpful. But, there are some draw backs. The pest control people do a very bad job, it's just best to treat your own apartment, maintenance struggles to keep staff so sometimes things don't get fixed in a timely manner or fixed correctly. The children of some families run rampant all times of night, police and security stay busy. There are fights and shootings every so often. I sum it up to the city and ill mannered humans. But now that the new families are moving in things have been better, quieter. You still get the occasional guest who is deaf and has music blaring in their car at 2 am. But those are far and few in between. The kids have a nice little playground but all ways best to check for broken glass. My oldest child required stitches due to a large shard being wedged in the equipment cutting her so deeply we feared she would have nerve damage. Large apartments for the price, but you get what you pay for. They except section 8 and are...
