Buyer beware. I will tell you about my experience and so you can catch any red flags. Back story needed home from moving to Arizona to Texas. Realtor shouldnāt have recommended this place. If you do not use there lender they treat you differently. The $2k down was not bad, but in that contract they can change dates on you without notice. There is nothing you can do about it, unless you want to walk away. Stephanie Terranova their representative, will tell you if you use a different lender and you are not ready to close they will charge you $200 per day. I was suppose to close 2/1/22, but Starlight was not ready and changed date to 2/14/22. No help, just you take it and deal with it. Stephanie unresponsive and offers no solutions and lacks compassion. Stephanie is good with excuses. Craftsmanship here is not great. Upstairs floor loft squeaks. The sub floor has major issues some places hire than the other. Some areas do not feel structurally sound. One door does not close. When the washer machine runs lights dim upstairs in a few rooms. Coax Cable is missing upstairs master bedroom. Pin hole in the master shower. Initially cabinets were not done but got finished. Front door strike plates were improperly installed. (Got fixed) Also, plan to use paint remover for the floors, expect to clean all carpets from the saw dust and left over carpet pieces. It should get fixed with the warranty, but only time will tell. I am probably going to the city and find out who passed the inspection here. The project Manager Danny has been great and is responsive understanding. The window was replaced, but shouldn't have to walk into that. If it was not for him I would probably make more of a ruckus. All in all, for a brand new house with should not be this many issues. The experience was terrible. Why did I follow through because realtor said unfortunately this is how it is with new builds. It will probably be the same somewhere else. Just know, these people don't care, well maybe Danny does, but as for the rest, your just filling quota at there expense. One thing to note leaving here in the AM and getting home in the PM is tough, traffic 2 lane highway and its survival of the fittest. Be prepared for a bumpy ride.
3/11/22- door can now close but left with screws showing molding coming apart. The door no longer latches. 3/30/22, door still not fixed. Fence panel blew down. Had to put it back up. Going to have to get 3ā screws and secure all to posts. 4/25/22- door now go no longer close, subfloor on second floor still has not been fixed. Scheduled date last week to come and fix no one...

I would like to share my experience and express my concerns about the safety issues at Liberte by Starlite Homes in Converse, Texas. I strongly advise against moving to this community due to the ongoing risks it poses to you and your family's well-being.
One of the major issues I've encountered is the lack of action from the HOA management company and the developer regarding the concerns that have been brought to their attention. Despite multiple reports and complaints, it seems that little to no action has been taken to address the safety concerns within the community.
Of particular concern is the continuous presence of non-residents visiting the amenity center, some of whom have been seen carrying guns. Disturbingly, there have been incidents where these individuals were arrested. This is not an isolated event but rather a recurring situation that happens each weekend, posing a significant risk to the community's residents.
The safety and security of a community should be a top priority for any management company, but it appears that this is not the case at Liberte by Starlite Homes. It is disheartening to see such negligence when it comes to the well-being of the residents.
Considering the ongoing safety concerns and the lack of action by the HOA management company, I strongly advise potential residents to reconsider moving to Liberte by Starlite Homes. Your safety and that of your family should always be a primary concern, and unfortunately, this community falls short in providing a secure environment.
I hope that by sharing my experience, it will bring attention to the safety issues at Liberte by Starlite Homes and encourage the necessary changes to ensure a safer living environment for all residents.
Note: This review is based on my personal experience and observations. Others may have had different experiences, and I encourage everyone to conduct their own research and make an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThese cookie cutter homes are so rushed and not adequately built. Itās crazy how the head guy is so proud of how fast they can build homes when itās bare minimum expectations. Thereās so many small things about the homes that get overlooked, especially cosmetic wise such as gaps in wall molding, gaps in front roofing molding that allows wasp and birds to nest in, molding around the island in the kitchen that has gaps, cheap doorknobs that fall off all doors (have other neighbors have the same issue). Weāve had more issues with our AC (we change our filter every 1-2 weeks yet it started leaking) and plumbing (leaky faucet from out door water hose, poor water pressures) than older homes weāve been in or even newer built homes from other builders. One of the cabinet door under the sink isnāt even screwed in. One of our fence panels wasnāt nailed in at all. When we tried to point stuff out like the gaps during the walk the guy pretty much āthatās just how it isā response cause they know the house will sell either way. Definitely donāt see myself living in this home for long. We keep having issues from poor craftsmanship and Iām honestly afraid to live in this house longer than we have to. Weāre probably losing a lot of money rather than having an investment like most homes should be.
And itās funny how HOA said something about keeping our trash bins out of site but wonāt say anything to the people who park their cars sideways on the sidewalk blocking it from those who wanna go on walks. We keep running into issues with a house that only a year old and itās ridiculous. Iāve been in a cookie cutter home before and never had this many issues and the quality of the work was so much better. The houses here are so cheaply done and rushed. Crazy how a builder can be so proud of how fast they finished houses when it shows how...
