We went to the store in South DeKalb mall first to find suits for our wedding. They suggested that we go to this store on Memorial for a larger selection of suits. We were told that they could transfer the (perfect) suit that I had found at the South DeKalb store if I didn't find anything better at the Memorial store. When we entered the store, a man, Albert, gave us his card and told us that if we needed any help to just ask. I couldn't find anything that fit me in the jacket and pants and no one was in alterations to answer my questions. I started getting frustrated. We didn't ask Albert because he did not have a very welcoming attitude. After my husband-to-be and his best person found suits they wanted, we approached Albert to ask if we could transfer the suit I found at South DeKalb over so that we could purchase all three suits at the same time. He said it would take up to two weeks, we said that we didn't care because our wedding is in October. He suggested we buy a third suit at Memorial, then exchange it for the suit I actually wanted instead. He physically started walking backwards away from us and trailed off to end the conversation. We approached the front counter. As soon as Albert saw us approach the counter, he sped over to us. We asked the person working the cash register if we could put the two suits we chose on hold or on layaway while they transferred the suit I chose over. The person on the register asked Albert, who said it would be too "confusing to transfer the suit". They suggested we buy a third suit to still get the "buy 2 get 1 for $1" deal and then go exchange it. So we go find a suit in a similar price range and call the South DeKalb store to make sure they would honor the exchange. We approached the counter again to purchase the suits and Albert came speeding up to us again. A different cashier asked if anyone helped us and I quickly said no. Albert gingerly packaged our suits and told us that he "appreciated" us. We were not offered alterations and we didn't go back. This was my first experience buying a suit and this store made it an unpleasant one. PS: The South DeKalb store was great! They apologized for the other store, marked the other suits for alterations and congratulated us on getting married. Will definitely...
Read moreSince moving from NY I had been looking for a “clothing spot” like this one. I love the selection, the quality & the pricing. Purchased a shirt from there recently I could not try it on because there were signs all over indicating not to open the packaging. Took the shirts home tried it on & unfortunately it was too tight. The receipt says that in order to do a return one must have the corresponding receipt to get a refund if you do not have a receipt then it’s a store credit & the transaction must be processed in 30days of purchase. I bring the receipt in within a week & I was denied because I didn’t have the original plastic the shirt came in which is not indicated a prerequisite on the receipt at that time. As a so called “Manager” he could have and should have honored my exchange. I left the shirt & receipt on the counter & walked out. That guy with the slick back hair is a piss poor selection for leadership & that seems to be a consistent theme here in Ga! And not to mention he chewed out his sales person in front of me when she made recommendation for remedying my situation. You never chew out your staff in front of a customer or peers. It’s humiliating!! & lowers moral. I will still shop with the company but I want nothing to do with...
