Jesus People Church — Local services in Scottsdale

I wanted to take my time to leave a proper review, so here it is. Jesus People Church is a beautiful place and could very well be the right place for you. Pastor Rowdy genuinely takes his time to get to know people. He and his wife made a point to meet my husband and me personally, asking questions and showing sincere interest in who we are, while making sure we felt comfortable and welcomed. Pastor Rowdy is very passionate about what he does, and you can clearly see that passion when he preaches.

We also met some lovely members who took their time say hello and welcome us. Like any church, you’ll find people who are genuine and others who may still be growing — none of us are perfect. Never take offense. We are all flawed individuals who come before Christ seeking grace.

Also for the older gentleman who gave us a big welcoming hug on our first day. That hug was deep, genuine and full of love. We want to say thank you.

I love One Church Scottdale. My children and I have been attending OCS for about a year and a half now and I knew after 5 minutes of being there that we were finally "Home". One Church is family to me and my children. Pastor Rowdy and Ashli are truly 2 of the most loving and inspiring people I have ever met. They are so dedicated to every member in their amazing village, they offer hope and encouragement in their bi-weekly Village Chats on Tuesday and Thursday nights @7pm and they both make themselves available if any of us need advice or encouragement or prayer. I am so thankful that God led us to OCS.

My wife and I have just started atteneding One church. Weve been looking in Scottsdale for about 12 months to find a solid church like this one. The paster and his wife are just lovley and inviting. The messages are encouraging and challenging with a majour focus on joy! The music is awesome, and there is a real sense if the presenec of God.. If you dont have a home church, this church is really growing, come and vist one morning. They have sunday bible study at 9.00am , a great mens meeting for 15 mins at 10.00 then the main service at 10.15. ...
