Food Lion — Local services in Seaford

Use to love this place but cashier was very rude my son said I will take the bag she wouldn't even look at him then just sat them on the counter my husband try to give her our mvp card she wouldn't take from him. I had to give it to her and she just acted like she didn't want to wait on us . When we was done my son said thank you and she turned her head 😠. This all because of the hat my son was wearing people really need to read their history and just because he was wearing a Confederate flag hat does not mean he doesn't think your life matters he wears because he likes loves history he is the most caring kid I know. So if you think just because someone is wearing something or flying something they don't care think before you act because that is just showing how you are. Everybody is always very friendly and helpful here. There is always somebody available to answer questions as to where things are located in the store, which is very helpful. The produce selection is just kind of so-so although the quality is good it's limited. It's a small store but it's average for the grocery store size in this area. It's clean as a grocery store should be. I just wish they had a larger selection of everything. Is the closest store to my house so I go there often. For a quick shopping adventure, it's pretty good they're very fast. I usually do my shopping at night when is very few people in the store. But they will open up lines if it's during the day and they're busy, they have no problems opening up an additional...

Don't go to this store around lunch time of you are in a hurry. They had two lines open and they were both long. I had a few bottles of water and candy so I decided to go to the service desk in the front to check out. Well once the lady was finished doing lottery for a gentleman and it was my turn she told me that she couldn't ring me up as the scale wouldn't let her. I asked why we needed a scale when all I had was eater and candy. She proceeded to tell me again that I had to get into one of the lines to check out. Needless to say, I left my items on the counter and walked out. That is such nonsense that I couldn't be checked out at the Service counter. The customer service is completely...
