Pizza King — Restaurant in Delaware

I live 3 miles from this location and I have visited all the Pizza King locations so this is very convenient but every time I order either in person or online the service is awful. The food is usually good. I stopped by tonight and a very nice young lady waited on me, I ordered 2 subs and boardwalk fries I paid and she told me 20 minutes so I went and did some grocery shopping which took almost 30 minutes and when I got back the girl bagged the subs and said just waiting on fries so I stood another 10 minutes and she asked the young girl in the back how much longer and the girl replied I still have to blanche them. The girl at the register said it will take a little longer I said but my cheese steak subs are getting cold but I waited another 10 minutes ( I was timing it because I have this problem every time) and I said can you give me regular fries instead and she said yes and I guess the girl doing the fries realized I was getting impatient so she threw the fries in the fryer and I still stood there at that point she was just being rude. I finally asked the young lady at the counter for my cold subs and my money back for the fries. She apologized and said they were short handed. I told her I get that but everyone is right now but that was nothing but Incompetence. I was very aggravated with the whole thing and needless to say the subs...

Love this PK. Have never had a problem with our orders and Ashley is a wonderful server. She takes everything in stride and still smiles with a real smile. I'm sorry I don't remember the person that sat behind me, but she also worked there but was off duty. It was cool with both hollered at the same time that the people went to the bathroom, so leave their drinks. That was done several times and then we discovered that the couple HAD gone to the bathroom and had already left. A good laugh was had by all. In the meantime, we got pizza instead of our usual cheesesteak subs. Pizza was really good and yet we still had to ask for a box. So much better with the food then our last time at the PK in Seaford. Don't know if I want to go back to that one, but will certainly go to Bridgeville PK!

The last time I went to this PK, we decided to get our usual scrumptious cheesesteaks. We order the whole so we can take half home for supper. Unfortunately, I went through the same problems I had at the Seaford location. I even asked if the chef was the same one. They assured me it wasn't, but my order was not as I requested and I lost my desire to return there for quite some time. All I got from them was a "sorry about that." I've been here to this Pizza King before. The food has always been spectacular and have never had a problem with the service either. That was in the past, now let's fast forward to today.... When I entered, one server was coming out of the dining area and saw me and avoided me. No hello. No welcome to Pizza King. No nothing. That was the start of a huge turnoff for me. So, I went into the dining area and was hoping that the server's attitude wasn't as bad as the person I saw walking in. So, I sat, and I sat. I have a 5-minute time limit to sit and wait for a greeting or a "I'll be right with you" comment. I got nothing, no server, no greeting, no nothing. There were only 4 people in the restaurant at the time that I was there. So, I got up and left. I don't like to pay a business money if they can't get it right from the start. I'm there to enjoy my meal, not by being upset. So, upon leaving I looked into the kitchen and what I saw was a joke. 3 people standing around having a good time talking.
