My son was super excited to visit Buff due to the Instagram hype and a referral. Unfortunately, it went downhill from the time we entered the shop. First, my son is a new client, we walk in let him know we there for our appointment. No hello, no welcome to my shop, no engagement at all, barely looked up. Just sit take a seat. My son paid the $15.00 appointment fee for the Boy's Cut 17 and Younger ($30). The website states this includes shampoo, cut down, shape up. No shampoo, no cut down, just a front taper. After sitting in the chair no engagement at all. My son showed him a picture, based on the picture you would think there would be some conversation around exactly what he was looking for. My son is 15 so he can speak for what he would like to accomplish with the cut. As a professional I would expect professional dialogue as it relates to the haircut. Lead your clients on your capabilities based on the clientās current hair style/cut. I walked in after Buff was done. I was not completely satisfied and was told we needed to pay $25 on top of the $15 we already paid. I paid $40 for a $30 front taper that was mediocre at best. I was told to go to a credit machine and pay, which I did. Not a thank you, hope you like it.... nothing. Once again, he barely looked up. He basically gave him a taper cut in the front, covered in black hair spray and got2b glue, with his hairline pushed back way too far. Maybe I am old school, because black hair spray does not make a haircut. Great customer service and professionalism is how you keep loyal customersā¦even if they are not satisfied. I know what a good hair cut looks like and this was not it. I felt compelled to do this review after we got in the car and I took a closer look at his hair. Obviously, we will not be back. First picture with black spray and got2bglue. Second picture after...
Ā Ā Ā Read more50$ for my husband's haircut but I paid 80$ bc I thought it looked really nice however when I looked closer after we left turns out his fade AND BEARD were uneven (which i fixed when we got home) even after asking him to just line up the beard no length taken off. HE PRACTICALLY LEFT WITH HALF A BEARD. We were the first customers so there's no reason it should've been rushed even with 2 people waiting behind us. When you come to a barber shop with just one person cutting hair, expect a wait. That's the name of the game. First come first serve, yeah? Beyond that, the barber had his baby with him and had to stop a couple times to tend to said baby. Not his fault obviously, seemed like it was difficult for the guy to focus on cutting my man's hair right as he kept going on about his rap "career" and weekend plans with his buddy who had walked in shortly after starting the cut. It's really unfortunate, we drove an hour to get to this place because it looked nice and the cuts on the website look nice too and sure it's a decent cut but I shouldn't have to go back and fix something I paid hard earned cash to have done right...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTried calling the number on the website, but phone wouldnāt ring and voicemail was not set up. Thatās my only complaint to be honestā I decided to go in anyway (7:30AM) since the reviews were good. I had to wait a little while because I didnāt know this spot is appointment-based as opposed to walk in, but as soon as Buff had an opening he fit me into his schedule. Iām very happy with the cut though: got a comb over fade with a hard part, good detail on the beard and the shape up was crispā heās nice with the blade! Good boom bap playing the entire time, too. Chill vibe, cool artwork on the walls. Iāll be...
