What a charming little shop, filled with sweet jewels to make your tummy happy and your tastebuds sing.
Sweet Sister's Fault has been a blessing to downtown Seaford and they've only been open for a few weeks. We've had the opportunity to visit twice now and cannot find "fault" in anything.
The shop, while small, is decorated beautifully and is inviting and warm, as are the employees who work there. Both times, there has been a line (these ladies are popular!) but it moves quickly and every customer is treated like they are the only one in the shop, which not only speaks to the professionalism of the employees, but their managers as well.
Let's talk about the treats. Everything is individually portioned into nicely-sized slices and reasonably priced. There is a large variety of cakes, pastries and other goodies, including gluten-free and sugar free options. We've indulged in the Chocolate Mousse Cake (so good we had it twice) and the berry Cheesecake but the standouts were the Quesito (pastry filled with slightly sweetened cream cheese) which I could eat for breakfast every day, and the Lemon Blueberry cake which managed to showcase both the lemon and blueberry so well while being topped with a beautifully light and not-too-sweet frosting. Absolutely outstanding.
We moved here to Seaford from DFW almost five years ago and since then I've been looking for a bakery that compared to what I could get in the city. I have to say, Sweet Sister's Fault does the trick. So very very happy to have them here in Seaford.
If you go, expect there to be a line. But, I assure you, it is worth the couple of minutes of wait.
PS - we've already decided we're ordering a cake for our wedding anniversary and a variety of slices for my birthday. It's...

In response to the reply...the gentleman behind the counter was specific about the keto or sugar free items so I did NOT purchase those. He also informed me to bring it to room temp. I purchased Tiramisu cake which was not good and that is my favorite dessert so I have had it in many places. I also purchased the combo flan and Tres Leche dessert, which was just ok. The best item was the item you had samples of that day. Dont remember the exact name, but it was a light puff pastry stuffed with some type of pastry creme....

I especially love that nothing is teeth achingly sweet, just perfectly sweetened with rich delicious flavors. All of the flans and cheesecakes are delicious. I tried the Japanese Cheesecake today and it is the perfect light vehicle for the vibrant fresh fruit topping. Photos show just a few of the items I have tasted, and I have never been disappointed. Staff is great and helpful. I cannot recommend...
