Macklin Brewing Co. — Restaurant in Seaford

Just recently opened and checked it out. Good flavors, but some things to note.

Carbonation: all the beers I tried had great flavor, but were all under carbonated. Not sure if they naturally carbonate or force carbonate in kegs. Either way they need to nail that down a bit better.

Beer temp: all the tapped beers were on the warmer side. If they are going for the German style, they should say that the beers will be not as cool as Americans expect it to be. If not, they need to turn down the temp on their coolers.

Other than that, awesome place. I’m gonna chalk it up to being freshly opened and working out the kinks in new brewing equipment.

My wife and I had a great time, talking movies and beer, with Mike and Clark. They have a really good mixture of beer types. I do think the temperatures needs to be slightly cooler. I noticed there was a lot of foam being produced when they were pouring, but the beer itself was not highly carbonated or cold. The flavors were really good, and the atmosphere is excellent. The flavors of the beer were decent. I don't think many people understand that craft beers aren't always supposed to be "ice cold" so that you can get the full flavor. Service was friendly.

Overall, there's a lot of little things that could be improved upon but there's potential in this nano-brewery....
