Dios Provee Antojitos mexicanos — Restaurant in Seaford

We had lunch at the Dios Provee located on High Street in Seaford. It was delicious. When we walked in I really didn't know what to expect. It was like I just walked into a restaurant in Mexico but it didn't have a dirt floor 😄. The chips and salsa were made there and they were the best 😋. The tortillas were very tasty. (most other places are bland). Howard had the chicken enchiladas and I had the Chicken Asada. Absolutely the best. They don't have a liquor license yet but are in the process of getting one and when they do they will be changing the name of the restaurant. We first tried this little gem out the other week on Taco Tuesday 🌮 We tried the Carne asada tacos and El pastor tacos, both are great! All 3 sauce toppings are great as well. My son had the Carne asada steak meal. He loved it. Tonight (Friday) they have a Birria taco special and oh my goodness those are DELICIOUS! I wish you could get them any night of the week because I'd be there a few times a week. Also the Mango smoothie is so refreshing! I would even say I'd go back just for that alone. The restaurant staff was friendly and attentive as we arrived to dine in for an 11:30am lunch.

The restaurant, tables and rest room were clean and many diners were in and out as they placed orders to go, although the atmosphere is relaxing to stay and dine.

For what they lack in choices on the menu, they make up in flavor. That’s not to be a negative critique, but it’s typical to see many more options on a Mexican restaurant menu.

I hope to see them succeed and to expand their offerings. We’ll be dining there again to try the other items...
