Absolute worst customer service I've ever received. I have purchased 4 phones from this particular store and never had a problem until today. Bought a new iPhone 5S from them 2 weeks ago and were told that we could return it to exchange it for the phone we really wanted because they were out of stock at that time. Fast forward to today, time to exchange. They have it in stock but the 14 day rule doesn't apply because they said the 14th day was yesterday. Never been late on a bill and have purchased 4 phones, even upgraded this one early for an extra $250 and they still weren't willing to help at all. I guess Saturday plus 2 Saturdays isn't the same as 2 weeks. Called AT&T corporate and they even had a corporate manager call this crap store and were told, in a wonderful customer service way, that they (the store) weren't affiliated with AT&T and they didn't have to abide by their rules and to top it off, they didn't even have to answer the phone call from AT&T. Such a courteous group of people at this store. Terrible customer service and I will be driving the extra miles to Mesquite now for my AT&T needs instead of this place. I would not recommend this store to anyone. Calling the manager doesn't help, not sure the owner would be any different because this is a 3rd party store and they follow their own rules. BTW, you can get better deals by going to an ACTUAL AT&T store, not one of these franchised pieces of crap. Not that it will matter, but they have lost 1 customer. I do not approve of the sales tactics used there. We went yesterday to replace a phone that AT&T sent my son. We said several times that what we would pay and what we wouldn't. There are several promotions. We chose a phone at the cheapest promo price and was given a more expensive one. We verified before paying that this was the cheaper promo phone. She assured us that it was. I called AT&T customer service right after leaving to cancel insurance that she put on there that I did not want and found out that she sold us the more expensive phone. We had not even gotten home yet, so we returned to the store to return it. Angela was extremely unprofessional and rude. Angela lied and said that she must have misunderstood, regardless of the fact that we stated many times what we wanted. Because she opened the box, she charged us a restocking fee to return it. Now I have spent $55, and my son does not have a phone. They misrepresent (basically lie) there to drive sales numbers.
