I called at 8:11 to ask them how long it will take to make chili cheese fries. The lady said “I don’t have any orders right now, so 6-8 minutes.” I told her, “okay cool it will take my husband 30 mins to get there to pick it up. I will call back in a few mins to order because I want it fresh.” She said “okay”. I call back about 10 mins later. (I have the time stamp in my phone). And it rings for a long time and someone picks up the phone but no one says anything. I over hear the conversation of 2 people saying that they didn’t want to hear the phone ring anymore and to just leave it there that it’s probably that lady trying to order food… . Also something about a water bottle. Idk. So then I hang up and try calling another 4-5 times and it just keeps ringing. My husband finally gets there and they inform him that that ran out of all of the food. In the span of 10 mins?! Sure. That’s all okay but Why couldn’t they inform me that they were low to begin with?! Also! Why couldn’t they pick up the phone the numerous times I called to inform me that. They knew were were coming, they knew we were going to call, they knew all of that and instead of being informative, and good people, they just let the phone ring, let my husband get all the way down there and say that they have no food left. Coming from one small business owner to another. That is not good business etiquette. We will not be coming back. No longer...
Read moreBefore I get to the food I will just mention few other things. Finding the place wasn't super easy, their sign is super small and dwarfed by their neighbors on the strip. When I placed my order I was handed a number, which I assumed that someone would bring my food to my table and the number would help with that. Not so, I had to return the number to the main counter and pick up my food.
I ordered their Chili Burger instead of going with their signature dish. Every restaurant can do their best on their favorite dish, so I wanted something that would should their attention to detail and thoughfulness towards their customers. If they didn't care, they would not balance the flavors or portion the liquid ingredients properly. These people do seem to care. Their Chili Burger was on point. The right kind of cheese was used, and the toppings really went well with the whole dish. There was enough chili to taste and enjoy, but not so much where it would still everywhere or become a clothing hazard.
I really enjoyed the fries that came with the hamburger. Their approach to seasoned fries was really tasty and seemed like they were lighter on the sodium too. Very good recommendation here! Their drink offerings were the standard fountain drinks and small bottled sodas.
I got here as soon as they opened for the day, and was happy with what I got. I imagine when more customers come in it probably gets hectic....
Read moreFirst time in town visiting my girlfriend, and wow—Burger Pop is amazing! The quality of the meat, fresh bread, crisp veggies, and generous portion sizes really blew me away. We ordered a cheeseburger, a small fry, and a small onion ring, and it was more than enough for two people. The food isn't greasy at all, and from what the locals say, they consistently maintain this quality. It definitely lives up to its reputation as the best in town! We also shared a churro, and let me tell you, the portion sizes here are Texas-sized! I was pleasantly surprised by the caramel filling—it was sweet enough on its own, no syrup needed. I highly recommend Burger Pop! I wish we had one in Fort Worth. If you're in the area, skip the big box fast food places in the same shopping center and go local—you won't regret it. And the price? Amazing! We more than fed two people for under $15.
They offer indoor and outdoor seating and also deliver through Grubhub.
Update: I came back, and it was just as good the second time around. This is a must stop everytime I'm in...
