B&B Department Stores — Local services in Seaside Park

I've been going to this store for years with no complaints. Almost a decade I've never had a problem. The clothing selection is always great and they have a killer labor day sale. However, my most recent experience was not pleasant. I spent a few hours shopping when I realized the store was about to close. I asked one of the staff members to hold my items until tomorrow so I could come back and finish trying on some things and purchase the rest. I was ready to spend $1000+ on clothes. That same night, the supervisor Kristin, came into the dressing room to shame me for taking too many items in to try on. Even though there was no attendant there for hours and I was almost finished trying clothes on. I returned the next day around the same time to pickup my items on hold. The same supervisor Kristin rudely informed me that she had put back all my items because I didn't return by noon to claim them. I explained to her that I had spent hours shopping the previous day and was never informed about this rule. She simply dismissed me and walked away. She didn't even offer to help me find all the items again or sincerely apologize. As I was looking through the racks again trying to locate my items, she returns to rudely remind me how I could only have 6 items in the dressing room at once. She obviously had some kind of vendetta against me for bringing too many items into the unattended dressing room. I'm shocked, a little hurt and pretty annoyed that someone who claims to be a supervisor would treat a loyal customer this way. I always find great bathing suits here. And their selection of clothing is wonderful. UPDATE 4/25. I have been going here for over 40 years. I had at least 25 to 30 items in my hand. No bathing suits as the selection the past several years has been poor. I was the only one in the store. All the employees were in the front of the store talking. No one asked if I needed help. I really didn't care as this is always the case. I go into the dressing rooms, as I have for years, and was stopped to only have 6 items at a time. Ok. I was in the store in June while on vacation and saw a gorgeous navy blue cover up. it was beautiful but I decided to wait. Well, a month later, I call B&B and spoke with Hope (who is amazing by the way). She checked and they still had it!
