Ice Cream Boss — Restaurant in Seaside Park

OK stopped in here after going to Mystic lobster roll which I wil review at another time anyway, my friend ordered a banana split and everybody I’m assuming is new there they were very young kids still being trained anyway, there is an older woman there with bleach, blonde hair, a little heavyset and short and she was teaching the young man who took our order how to make a banana split and we saw her cut a banana with no gloves on at all take the banana out of the skin with no gloves on at all and then he cut another half of the banana, same thing with no gloves on at all. Obviously, this woman is not training her staff and I come to find out she’s actually the manager of the place, totally disgusted. My friend and I went outside to finish our order which was a banana boat which they didn’t even have a boat to put the ice cream in so they put it in a small clamshell that bended. He didn’t even have a little box to put it in my thank God ordered a small pineapple cone , some kind of sorbet or whatever anyway, this woman is training everybody to spread disease, which is very unfortunate. I will never ever be back. Actually, my friend actually threw the banana boat in the garbage. There was also come to find out as we are in the car and driving away. She told me there was also a hair in the ice cream which I know she does not like to raise the roof on a business, but I do and I would avoid this place at any cost unless you want to get some kind of disease I will never again like I...

It takes a lot for me to waste my time writing a review, but some of the employees made it worth while. Is the store called ice cream BOSS because the workers boss you around? Is that the vibe the owner was going for when this place was made? Seems like it was… Don’t hire young inexperienced workers who don’t even know how to treat a human with respect. I will NEVER be bringing my kids here again. Girl at the front counter with the eyebrows yelled at my kids like they were in military training camp. What kind of experience is that for an innocent child getting ice cream? Sick of this place… won’t be getting my business as a return customer. How DARE you disrespect...

Prices are a little high for ice cream and they are very busy on weekends, so the servers are usually stressed out, so try to know what you want before you order. I got the cherry ice stuff, was very good. My wife asked if the sugar free coffee ice cream was sweet and the girl said "it probably tastes like it's sugar free". Which was not the most helpful lol. Maybe next time offer her a sample if you've not tasted a flavor, as there are many "sugar free" things that are still sweet. It's usually for diabetes. Anyways, really good Italian ice. Atmosphere is nice, but they were busy when I went, so I can't really dock...
