This used to be my grandfather's store called J&J Meat Market back in the 70's. It also served as a small corner market. I spent many a summer there and lots of fun. One block from the beach and one block from the bay was great. It was beach time during the day and crabbing in the bay at night. Boy have things changed. Down the street towards the bay was the Bay View Inn where my uncle would spend most of his time drinking boilermakers. Interestingly there were two rental apartments above the store and another small two room unit on the first floor. There was also a detached two story rental bungalow next door along the main drag. I absolutely adore this little gift shop and highly recommend it!! The staff here are incredibly friendly and approachable and seem to genuinely love the shore (and not just the money the tourists bring in). The store also carries many goodies that are ocean/beach/sea themed that are very good quality and very fairly priced. They also sell items that can be found in other gift shops in the area, but are MUCH cheaper here (and typically of better quality tbh). The bikes they rent are of good quality and they also carry necessities like first aid supplies, sunscreen, bug spray, lotions, some drinks/munchies, and beach supplies.
