The man who either runs this place or is one of the management approaches me the other day threatening me, calling me names such as a package stealer, porch pirate, and homeless person all while I was trying to consolidate my own package into an easier to carry canvas bag because it was so large. After I proceeded to tell him he needed to watch how he spoke to me because I did not do anything wrong to him, he approached me started pushing me punching me and putting his hands all over me. He then proceeded to call the police on me, while continuing to punch and push me. The police arrived, and I very generously told them that I don't want him to be arrested even though they told me that they were going to take him in for assault. This entire interaction was over him assuming that I was going to leave my box in the alleyway because I was trying on a pair of shoes that I ordered. If he had approached me and asked me nicely to please clean up after myself, or asked any question instead of being intrusive and incredibly rude this situation would have gone completely different. The facility is what you would expect from a functioning and active community center. The food they prepared is 5 stars by itself. But a great place to visit of you...
