Columbia City Theater is a quality spot to see a show. It's not too far off from the Light Rail, there's a fun small brewery nearby, and they have their own bar. The stage is raised to a great level that allows you to see from most areas in the theater, and it's got two tiers for standing room. People working the show have always been super nice letting people in and as people are exiting. I feel like this is a spot that typically has artists that are quality music, but not super popular, so you get a pretty intimate show that has plenty of room for not feeling like a sardine during a show. Read moreWonderful venue! Crisp energy, good platform, conducive to all ages events and a decent/large crowd. Full bar being somewhat separate from the venue is a nice touch for sure. Overall, it's a lovely place with friendly staff and security, and I've nothing but positive feedback for this particular venue other than this brief encouragement to better maintain/regulate those teeny tiny bathrooms. Maybe make them a bit more conducive to use without obstructing the flow of human traffic towards the end of the staircase, or add more stalls in hopes of forming less lines to use the restroom. The end! Much love, hope more shows get...
