From the first meeting with Edyth, Pricilla and then Michele they all helped me feel that I was in the right place to help with my mom. They are all so professional and truly caring and really know what they are doing especially with dealing with dementia. Pricilla went above and beyond to check in on my mom when I couldn’t be there. Michele became part of our family and my mom loved her. She knew just how to keep my mom focused and to feel safe and calm. My mom didn’t accept this at first that she needed help but Michele had such a way to make my mom feel comfortable and before you knew it my mom was looking for her on the days she was off. The days Michele was there with my mom I felt like I was able to breathe and I know my mom was in good hands. I do not know how I would have gotten through all of this with my mom without this team of professionals. They treated my mom as if she was their mom. The Secaucus Comfort Keepers took care of my father for over three years. The entire staff was ALWAYS helpful and able to improvise, adapt, and overcome to any problems that arose. When I moved to Florida they stepped up and made that move possible for me. They ensured that my father made all of his doctor appointments. They did his grocery shopping. They made sure that his home was safe and clean. And most importantly, they made sure that my father was WELL cared for and comfortable. THEY made it possible for my father's final wish to be fulfilled; he wanted to die in his own home, not in a hospital or other institution. Without THEIR care, that would not have been possible.
