What an amazing group of talented guides and a huge variety of activities to choose from. We planned on mountain biking 1 day of the four days of our stay. After going out riding one day, we couldn’t help but sign up for a second guided ride.. and then a third!

George is an expert mountain biker that not only knows every single trail and what’s ahead but he actually built some of the most popular trails in the area by riding them over and over again until a “trail” was forged. He was patient with our abilities and planned each day based on the skills he felt we needed to improve and we worked on them repeatedly until we conquered them.

My partner was a more confident rider than me but he managed to take our levels into consideration and help us level up our skills in just a matter of days. He didn’t just tell us “how” to ride, he watched what each of us did and tailored his guidance individually based on what he saw when he watched us attempt each obstacle.

My partner and I had the absolute pleasure of spending three days on mountain bikes under the watchful eye of The Trail House guides. We spent day one with Paul and got our intermediate beginner sea legs. We’d had an appointment with George the following day and almost cancelled, but Paul indicated that he was the best. So we kept our instruction, and we couldn’t be more thankful! George was an incredible instructor and so patient. He asked us to repeat hills and rocky areas with more guidance until we succeeded. We had so much fun that we booked George for a third day.

I would very closely inspect any bike you rent from here for any faulty components. I was riding a very simple trail and the derailleur snapped off. After carrying the bike to the shop, and asking if maybe the derailleur had potentially been bent before, I was told I probably “took a bad line” and would have to pay to have the bike fixed.
