I had a zero star rating but I want to make this very clear my zero star rating went to a five star rating because after I had told them the problem that I had corporate went and made everything right, and they were actually able to help me out on my next rental as well, and I want to commend them.
So my Wife and our kids, it was Easter weekend. I normally drive a GMC Arcadia Denali but I also have a Ford work van however my Ford work van is not gonna fit my family in it so I needed to rent a car because my Denali was in the shop. I went to the Westborough Massachusetts enterprise Rent-A-Car. Caitlin was the lady who I spoke to over the phone and helped me make the reservations, John was the one who set me up with the paperwork and showed me the car, and Sarah was the lady who helped me as I drop the car off. I had explain to them that I had a problem switching out the car to another SUV at the TF Green Providence Rhode Island location because enterprise to not have any SUVs in Massachusetts that were available to fit my family and that would make us feel safe because I am not used to driving a Chevy Malibu and being that low to ground, we just didnāt feel safe. So at the enterprise at the TF Green location in Providence Rhode Island I had gone there to switch out my vehicle. I had called and made reservations and I was supposed to have a 2020 Chevy Tahoe waiting for me. So I get there I told the gentleman that goes to look at the vehicle and make sure that everythingās OK I tell him Iām switching this vehicle out For a bigger suv I am not closing out the account I am just getting an SUV do not close out the account! he says OK go right over there to the Kiosk and get your new keys for your reservation. So I walked over, that gentleman checking over the car closed out the account. Iām thinking no problem whatever Iāll just get the reservation and takeoff. Then they said I had to make a new reservation because there was never a reservation in the first place. So I said whatever Iāll make a new reservation, since it was the airport they only excepted major credit cards. I said well I donāt have a major credit card with me. They said sorry we canāt help you then itās out of our hands. Then their district manager came out personally gave me a ride to a different enterprise location where I could use the debit card that I had on me, rented me a jeep no questions asked and I was on my way. Offered to give him some cash as a tip and he refused I forget his name but I know he was the district manager of the TF Green branch. I also want to commend Danielle Podgayevskiy For helping me take care of this issue and then even going as far as to scheduling me a SUV for my family and I when we vacation next month, ahead of time making sure that we have an SUV comparable for our family.
So at first as frustrating of a situation as this was I will say enterprise came out and made things right and as inconvenient as it was at first I appreciate everything that these folks did for my family and I. That being said we will continue to rent...

I have rented cars all over the country in multiple different states and have never had such a trouble like I have here at the Seekonk enterprise location. My reservation was for Thursday evening at 5:30 which I arrived promptly at 5:15. With a reservation made online for a sport or luxury sedan. I was then told that they locked the keys in the car that was available for me and I would have to take a car that is not what I reserved For the night and come back the next day for the correct car. Once I arrived Friday afternoon after driving out of my way to this location, they begin to tell me that I need a major credit card to take that car. I am personally an old-school individual and do not believe in using many credit cards. So I only had one with a $500 limit and it just had recently expired. None of this was ever mentioned Thursday evening or at any point during my reservation. I would have rented a car elsewhere as I am taking my grandfather on a long ride and wanted him to enjoy it in a car he would like to ride in. We are now stuck driving four hours away in a car that we never wanted to begin with. But we have no other choice as we are leaving tonight being Friday evening. No compensation was offered for this mixup. Just a take it or leave it deal. Had I known this I would have made a reservation elsewhere. Or made arrangements to have a credit card on hand. So why do they allow you to reserve a vehicle if they can't provide the services to do so! No apologies were given by staff, completely inconsiderate, and they wouldn't even help me call other locations to get a car, they tell me I need to call and figure it out. Also, another customer walks in behind me whos reservations were for 1pm and gets a car!!!! But I was just told no vehicles were available. So how I see it was even though I had a reservation for 12 and the other customers was for 1pm, that customers amount and total may have been more and thats why they granted her service and not me which is beyond unprofessional as my reservation was before hers, she even was confused.. Worse customer service ever and unprofessional! Never will I give my money to this company again, I come here all the time and for the services they provided me I will never return!! I had family events/funerals to attend with two deaths in the family and no car because enterprise couldn't provide the correct services promised. Only reason I got a car on Feb 5th is because I showed up at 8am to see what cars were dropped off overnight, nobody called me. When I walked in they all had a look on their face as to why I was there. I said to them I'm getting a car today as you did not provide me a car with my reservations yesterday. If I did not show up they would have never called me. Again horrible...
