Well.... Went back today because onstar and common sense told me one of my tires was leaking just to be told that there was nothing wrong. I didn't fall for it... Turns out they did a tire rotation 7 months ago and never "reset the sensors" nor did they document it on my account. Had I not pushed for everything to be checked again today, as I had originally requested when I booked my appointment(Even had an in person conversation with Ethan at the front desk about what I needed done) I would have left with no solution. Had to explain to Ethan that I wouldn't bring it for no reason. Even asked if it could be another issue if my car was registering a low tire for no reason after he showed me the diagnostic results. They magically found the leak on diffrent tire than my car was registering as perfectly fine after I asked who else I could speak with to get this taken care of...This was all the result of them messing up somewhere last time I took it in for a patch. I'm not a mechanic but I know none of this is logical, seems like they messed up and were covering their tracks once they realized I wasn't leaving without a solution. I hate to say it, but at this point this place feels a bit discriminatory against women... Even got a smirk when I ask if it's because I'm a girl. I never have issues when my boyfriend is with me and noted the diffrence since I took MY car in alone today. I've had my car for 3 years and have received nothing but excuses from this specific service location until I have had to complain to management just to get a basic service completed... Heck they sold me the car with wheel locks and no key and their last Service head was making it seem like it was my fault for not coming back for a tire rotation.... Apparently he isnt there anymore but the customer experience has not changed a bit. Definitely not the Chevy feel I get when I go to Valmark in New Braunfels. I've been happy with other Chevy and non chevy dealerships over the years and can tell Seguin Chevy has a lot professional development to work on before I would he confindent in their services. Heck, Seguin didn't even cover my mats today and that seems like a basic first step everywhere else! Left with a patch I had to fight for under full warentee, found out they rotated my tires last time and never noted it or "registered my sensors", and I honestly don't even feel confident that they rotated the tires today like they said and paid for the rotation! I will be making the longer drive to go to another service center, even if I have to pay out of pocket...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give a 0 rating I would, this has been absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership. Iām finally getting around to posting this review. To start when we went to go get our vehicle we were there for almost 6 hrs. We had found a vehicle and were in the process of the paperwork, signing documents and everything, only to find out that it was already a sold vehicle. Midway through they come up to us and say ābad news guys.ā Next, after we had gone through the looking process and found another vehicle we wanted we had signed for a specific interest rate. We were called back in 2 weeks later and told we needed to re-sign for a higher one after weād already signed a contract. We didnāt know at the time that we didnāt technically have to do that, because once again it was their mistake. Next, and by far worst of all we had our first service done. Somehow miraculously started having problems. Come to find out it had a leak in one of the transmission hoses somehow without our notice leaking all but 1 qt of transmission fluid out completely trashing the transmission and needing to be replaced. Thankfully still under warranty our truck went into the shopā¦for almost 3 months, with barely any update and we only started getting updated through a third party entity because I had to call GM themselves. Not to mention getting a hold of the service department, good luck, Iāve been put on hold, transferred multiple times, talked to like Iām a child by their front desk greeters in a condescending unprofessional tone, not like you would talk to a customer, all because I would like to know a progress update on a vehicle I am paying for that I donāt have, or to ask a question about the service provided. I donāt personally think thatās too much to ask. When we got our vehicle back looking over the service paperwork they had lied about what we had said stating we were the ones who had told them there was a transmission leak, when in fact we had no idea, in my opinion it was to cover their tracks because we would have noticed a leak of that size. Now Iām not normally one to write a bad review and tell someone to stay away but, Please STAY AWAY from this dealership, it has bad business practices, and terrible customer service. Not to mention my husband and I are usually very patient and understanding, but there is a limit and they reached...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe recently bought a used car from Seguin Chevrolet. They were very quick to sell the car, only letting us drive it around the block. Less than 5 miles from dealership the tire sensor light came on, we pulled over to the nearest gas station to check the tire pressure, everything was fine. Called the dealership and they told us to bring it back in the next day. Let me add, we live over 30 miles from the dealership. Took the car in the next day. It should have been a quick fix but they asked to keep the car to make sure everything was ok. 2 weeks later they still have the car and no updates to give us. They sent the car to a Nissan dealership but wouldnāt tell us why. The Nissan dealership didnāt even know why the car was brought there. The car was sent back to our dealership with nothing fixed. We would call and would never get through or would be told that we would be called back and never get the call back. Another excuse was the person was off that day, he seemed to be off quite often. They had the car for over a month, and when they finally told us what was being done to the car, none of it made sense. They had to replace multiple parts on the front right side, but why? We didnāt find out until after we got the car back and they gave us the itemized bill. They wrecked OUR car when they were testing driving it. They NEVER told us this and still havenāt told us this. It was in the fine print and thankfully we read the fine print. Yes they fixed our car and replaced it all for free but the fact of the matter is that they wrecked our car and never told us. Now that has to go on the car facts and we didnāt even do it. They never apologized for what they did or even admit they did anything. They tried hiding the fact that they wrecked OUR car!! I donāt trust them!!! They will keep...
