Seneca Pawn & Variety — Local services in Seneca

I normally would of given a 1 star review but these guys are at least polite. Had my wife bring a 55 inch lg silver 4k smart tv with web os in. I just started a new job and needed a loan until my first check to pay our phone bill. This tv was in mint condition but didn't have the feet as we used a different stand. (feet are 8 dollars in ebay). She spent an hour in there teaching them how to use it as they had no clue. First how can you buy and sell goods if your ignorant to what you are buying or selling. They said the issue was that they couldn't get the second HDMI to get sound but if anyones played or has had a smart tv in the past they know you have to adjust the sound settings for each input. Once again they had no clue on how to even work the settings. So they offered her 50 dollars. We need the money but she rightfully turned it down as that is downright insulting. I will never endorse ignorance and someone trying to take advantage of my wife. And that's what they did. Saw an easy dollar and tried. Good thing there are other options as we went another route.

Buyer or seller beware. If you see anything of good value at a high price they probably paid pennies on the dollar for it. Check other pawn shops as others have done us much better when needed and they were a little more honest.

We learned our lesson and next week will never have to go that route...

First off, I've been going to pawn shops for nearly 10 years. It's a hobby that my dad and I both enjoy, and when we go we primarily are looking to buy quality American made tools like Snap On, Mac, Proto, or brands like Matco and Blue Point. Part of the fun of pawn shopping is bartering and getting good deals. I completely understand that a business has to make money, but Seneca Pawn & Variety is ridiculous. I was practically insulted by the staff when I made a very reasonable offer on some of their Snap On tools. You can pretty much buy anything Snap On brand new off the truck for the same price that this pawn shop charges for...

ok so i has some porbelms when i pawned shop today. Fist, my son Jysh was lookin for some real hard cold stiff cash for his xbox three hundred and sixdy controler that is painted red. they said "no, that controler is bad and sticky" and i said "well i disagree, it is only alittle bit sticky and very very cool and red." 2,, my potty trained dog had to go to the bathroom but they didnt let it go in the store bathroom! why! i prommised he can go right in the toilet!! they dibnt belive me. last porblem i had was they had no adult magazines.. oh well, the newpaper will have to work for...
