I had the pleasure of being the last customer one evening for about the last hour of service. To keep it brief, I think a lot of people benefit from the "fake it til' you make it" motto. The owner, Mr. Deputy, definitely does not. I got to pick his brain in just the car audio and electronics section of his store, and the man knows his criteria. Humble chat with him as we exchanged audio stories back and forth. I'd consider myself a close audiophile, as I'd consider him one too. It's always nice to be able to talk frequencies with someone who knows every in and out, takes pride it that genre of life, and reciprocates that same energy back into his store and product. Is this business under new management or ownership? I have ordered 10's of thousands of dollars in Motorola radios and parts from Deputy over the last 5 years for the business I work for. Customer service has tanked in the past few months... the phone just rings until the call ends and emails go unanswered. I placed a $2,500 order back in early June and it still has not shipped... I used to receive these orders in less than a couple of days all the way down in central FL. I'm not sure what's going on but I guess I need to find a new vendor. Deputy used to be an awesome vendor...
