Ethan Allen — Local services in Sharon Township

The days of Ethan Allen being reputable are long gone. At least in the Worthington, Ohio store! The sales rep ASSURED us the special item chairs she ordered for us would fit into our living room, SEVERAL times before placing the order. Well, they did not and looked terrible. She came to the house and tried to rearrange the room to make the furniture look like it fit the room and it was a total mess. The chairs were too large and looked like we were trying to cram them into a small room. To further add to the horrible service, the store manager, Carolyn Mann, (who was very rude and abrupt) refused to refund ANY of the over $800 we spent on fabric. We are simply out that money and they will not even offer any type of credit. We told her to come pick up the furniture we had purchased prior to the chairs being delivered and she replied, “Nope” very rudely. Save yourself some hassles and DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION! I searched for a fantastic sofa for at least 5 years. When I saw the perfect sofa, I'd know it. A friend recommended Ethan Allen after hearing me complain. lol. I found not 1 but 2 perfect sofas at Ethan Allen and bought them both! Pricey, yes. But I expect these beautiful sofas to last many years. They are very well made, the custom fabric I selected is perfect and I'm in love. Monterey Sofa in Kent Jade, Chadwick Sofa in Regan Bisque, Anton Tall Ottoman in Regan Bisque. With my custom order, I was given a 2-month shipping date. While I heard nothing regarding the status of the order during those 2-months, I received a call from the deliverers at exactly the predicted time and my furniture was delivered the next day. Worst experience. I am paying on a table I do not have yet have been waiting 5 months the salesperson Kimberly Baker was great at the sale when she was getting her commission but has never kept in touch about the progress of getting the table and is agitated when I do call her. I told her I wanted to cancel the order she told me unfortunately you cannot because it is special order and then when I get upset over paying for a table I do not have says “I am not going to Argue with you.
