The prices are right and I love the produce section. Although I had a bad experience when I arrived at the checkout tonight between 7 and 8 pm on 6/5. I usually let things like this go, but I’m tired of entitled attitudes. This is the only reason for 1 star ⭐️ The cashiers name was McKenzie. She never acknowledged me, so I said “Hi” to her first and I received no response. I stopped for a moment and looked at her, and she never looked back. So I continued putting my groceries on the checkout line because immediately, now I’m irritated. She was throwing things into the transfer cart and when my cart was empty, I didn’t say anything, but I picked up my case of water to transfer it onto the other shopping cart. As I was doing that she spoke up and told me how much my bill was and when she saw the water she made a correction then she said, “never mind” that will be $116.35. She then looked away and handed me my slip and never said have a good night. She didn’t ask me if I found everything OK…I got nothing. Very rude and needs a reality check on personality. Those are the kind of people that represent your store. That’s when I stop shopping. A little advice to McKenzie… Don’t blame other people because you don’t like what you do with your own life…paint a smile on your face because customers will shop elsewhere. Also, the guy that was getting the floors ready for closing, never excused himself, no acknowledgment… also rude. that’s the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with in your store. These two need pointers from the other young gentleman you have working for you. I don’t know his name and he usually works earlier in the day. He’s always friendly and kind. He has great customer service qualities. Keep hiring...
Read moreExperienced a very poor customer service from employee named Mario. I was shopping with my newborn and a toddler. Regular checkout was really busy so I went to self check out for the few items I had. I scanned everything but I could not get my 2 produce items to go through so I simply asked for help. Mario was the employee that came over but seemed very irritated from the start that I was asking for help. I told him I’d like my bananas and tomatoes to get scanned, he proceeds to teach me how to do it and then goes “ here you try it” Knowing that my newborn was getting fussy I simply asked if he could just do it so I can get out of there. He did but then said “ See, wasn’t so hard” and walked away so fast. Are you serious? That’s the customer service you’re so proud of? Work on your attitude, Mario. Because I do not work there, you don’t need to teach me how to...
Read moreAldi is rapidly becoming my go to store if I need interesting food at good prices. I can only stop while in Sheboygan and then only if I know we need food. That being said, now my review. Food selection is good and unique in areas, frozen especially. Chips, wide range of sweet treats and appears to have more than a few wines at reasonable prices. All is good for my needs. The only downside is the checkout..... It is usually understaffed, and reminds me of an old Kmart store having a liquidation sale, instead of the checkout of one of the world's biggest grocery chains. Perhaps that is the appeal to Joe and Jane Citizen? I'm just sayin'. To finalise: Love the food and staff but make...
