Dollar General — Local services in Shelbyville

Love this place for one reason...there's a lady that has worked there for a long time, and I come in every Sunday. I love seeing her, she is funny, hardworking, and always helpful. We bought a house here in Shelbyville one year ago today, and only knowing my in-laws here in town, this woman helped me on multiple occasions. I just adore her....she is one of the best people I have run into from this city. I know she is from Delaware, and is quick to help others. I also know that the other lady that has made me feel at home here, she works at Burger King, she also adores the lady at DG. I have made it a habit of going to DG every Sunday morning, mostly when they open, early, to see the lady, and tell her how much I appreciate her. She says I make her day...isn't that what it's about, spreading kindness, and letting others know how much they have touched our lives?! It's been a year, and I'm happy to say, if it wasn't for the kind lady at DG, and Burger King, I would still be uncomfortable going around town. Now, I'm super happy to bring the grandkids around, visit our people, and enjoy the friendships that have naturally happened!!!! Thank you ladies, you both are...

I wanted to get deliver my at and t wifi equipment but they did not give me receipt and they just took that and lost it when i tried to talk they did not help me they tried to refuse now at and t is charging me fee for that who is responsible ? thats ok if they lost it but they were not talking softly and they do not want to help at all never recommended this dollar general and the lady manager was so rude no good staff there at all so...

Terrible terrible customer service!! The store manger was rude and argumentative the entire time I was in the store! The older assistant manger was rude as well! Although the cashier and girl stocking were incredibly nice and very helpful! I definitely could not work or shop at this store! The district manger for this location needs to respond to this stores customer service issues. Especially as a store manger you cannot treat people...
