The Lucky 7 Cafe — Restaurant in Shelbyville

Used to go regularly to this establishment. That changes today. I searched them on Google yesterday and clicked the order online button. It took me to clover or door dash. I chose clover and placed my order for $39 and some change at 235 pm when the place is supposed to be open. It was closed when I got there. I emailed the link and sent photos of the receipt and was told to call the store today. When I called the young woman was very rude about cutting me off instead of addressing my concern. She told me they dont utilize clover although it's clearly listed on the webpage. To tell me that I am just out of almost $40 bc of this issue without offering recourse is bad for business. Myself, nor anyone I speak to will come back. You had a frequent flyer and now you won't have that from this consumer. As someone who works in another local establishment, I enjoyed coming to a place I didn't work that had food as good as what I could get for a discount should I choose to go there. I'll start going back to work where I will at least get what I order when I order it. Your customer service leaves a lot to be desired on the table with this incident and I will be posting publicly as well. Those of us in Shelbyville work too hard for our money for it to go down like this. Now matter how good your food is, when you flat out refuse to make right YOUR wrongs, you don't deserve repeat business. This place is amazing! Our first time here, my boyfriend got biscuits and gravy and I got French toast and a parfait. The fruit was so fresh and delicious and my boyfriend said it was the best biscuits and gravy he's had in a while and he's pickier than me. The service was great and besides the food, it was comfortable and cozy and it was a great way to start our day. This place is amazing! The food is awesome, the staff is equally as awesome, and the atmosphere is just right. I've gone here for breakfast multiple times with my wife, and I'm grateful we have a place like this near by. Presently I live close enough that we're enjoy our nice short walk to this excellent establishment. We love breakfast here without the need to drive!
