After reading a negative comment about one of the employees at this unique store, I felt I needed to write my own comment. The employees in this store are very knowledgeable, kind and VERY helpful. It is not the kind of store where voices need to be raised for ANY reason. Yes, there is a sign for no photography due to the nature of the beautiful hand made, unique jewelry and art work. What artisan wants someone taking a picture of their work and having it copied?? No one! This is an employee doing their job, which is commendable. If this person was offended, I am sure their version is embellished. A gentle reminder in the real world turns into a nasty remark when it is something the person doesn’t want to hear when they are the one breaking the rules. The sign is clear No Photography. Not getting to take your “picture” is no reason to slam an employee (who has the backing of any other customer who has ever been in the store). Take your...
Read moreIt's really unfortunate that this is the only metaphysical shop in the area, and even calling it that is a stretch. The women who work in this shop are rude, pretentious, and impersonal, especially the dark haired woman with glasses. I've overheard her specifically make fun of customers after they've left, and speaks to customers as if they're stupid. Shes personally tried to argued with my husband over the price of a rough cut quartz because my son picked it up from one bowl when it belonged in another. Almost every time Ive visited, the person running the shop will be talking on their phone for long periods of time while watching you browse. I know that there are a lot of great reviews, but this one is coming from a woman whos been visiting this shop since she was a child. I would highly suggest you give your money to another business if you need supplies. This is a tourist shop, priced...
Read moreI came in with my 10 year old daughter to find an Apache Tear to help with her grieving the recent passing of her pet. The owner (I am assuming she’s the owner) informed us she didn’t have an Apache Tear but then took us along with her around all the crystals and stones and then recommended a few other stones that may help comfort her. Even though the shop was somewhat busy with the Fairy Festival going on, The owner took her time to show my daughter how the stones looked different under sunlight and helped explain each one to her. After my daughter found one that spoke to her, the owner then proceeded to tell us that it was no charge for the stone. It really touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes, because that small beautiful act of kindness is just so rare to come by these days. I appreciate all the time she took with us. I love this shop and I will recommend it...
