Ivan Smith Furniture — Local services in Shreveport

Brenda was excellent! She helped us find the perfect couch for us in our price range and answered all of our questions with ease. My problem came when I was promised by a seperate employee that I would be receiving the couch I purchased in a matter of a week or less. A week went by and I received another call saying it would be another 5-6 days. I told that employee what I was quoted and they offered nothing in compensation. I gave my couch away based on the date I was told, therefore I was left completely without a couch for over a week.

Update: finally got the couch and the cushions were completely missing from one part of the L shaped couch. All the throw pillows had loose strings that will probably eventually cause holes and rip open. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the throw pillows. The delivery guys were great however, and assured me my cushions would be here tomorrow. We'll see. I'm definitely not going to use them as my first choice from...

Special ordered furniture in Nov 2020. Told it would be at least 15wk but may get sooner. No call from anyone after 15wks past, so called to inquire about furniture. Given a date of March 26th that furniture should be at store. Called store March 27th to be told furniture in Memphis and should be at store in few days. No word from ANYONE. Went to store April 15th, to be told furniture would be in the following day! Received call April 16th that furniture in and scheduled delivery for April 21st. Furniture delivered but due to careless of delivery personnel, furniture full of finger prints and smudged markings. Was even told by delivery guy that I could get a rag and wipe it!! On our first visit we found a broader range of styles and price points than some of their competitors offer in Shreveport. The store we visited is huge and they just finished a major remodel. That day we found perfect living room furniture and just had it delivered today. The delivery service was smooth, SirMelvion and Tim did a professional job arranging the pieces and explained cleaning details.
