I love the food at Dillas! I crave it often and have never been disappointed with the taste and at a great price. I’m giving a 3 star review because at this location (Bertkouns), they have gotten my order wrong almost every single time, mostly parts of my order missing. My order has been totally wrong before, but more often I’ve paid for extra sauces and haven’t gotten them, or I’ve not gotten salsa that was included in my order… the customer service could also improve. The staff overall seems on the younger side, which there is, of course, no problem with this. But the customer service issues I’ve encountered just seem to come from a lack of maturity. However, everyone can learn! Instead of saying things like “Well, I don’t know you want to make it a meal unless you tell me,” instead, maybe say something like “Would you like for me to make that a meal for you?” Like I said, I love the restaurant and want to see it thrive, especially on this side of town. Read moreWe love Dilla’s, but if I could give this Dilla’s location zero stars, I would, and it has nothing to do with the food, but everything to do with our experience with one employee. In a very recent visit, the girl taking our order at the drive thru here was extremely defensive and blamed us for whatever the issue was communicating with her via the drive thru mic/ speaker. I honestly don’t know if her headset was broken, she didn’t know how to operate the mic or volume on the device or if she is just an outright unfit person for customer facing communication, but whatever the case, whoever it is that manages this location needs to pull her out of any position dealing with customers until she gets some serious coaching on how to be polite when communicating with customers instead of telling them, and I quote, “you don’t know how to order”. And that’s not even the half of it. We ended up leaving without ordering, and don’t plan on going back. If the owner is reading this, if you would like a date/ time and the full summary of this incident, I’d be happy to discuss in detail. Our order entailed: —1 Gorilla Bluebonnet combo, add black bean spread w/ 2 sides of the Hatch white queso and a Dr Pepper —1 regular steak Founder combo w/ Fries and 1 side of the Hatch white queso and a Orange Fanta
Now, let me preface my irritation of this mistake by saying that I'm VEGETARIAN, and I explained this to the person taking my order. I also had to repeat myself numerous times while giving my order.
My Bluebonnet had NO black bean spread, but instead, my quesadilla contained chicken and bacon with a double order of French fries and no Hatch white queso.
My husband’s steak Founder quesadilla did have the steak, but it also had the black bean spread I had asked for on MINE. He also had a double order of French fries and no Hatch white queso.
We should have had a total of 3 Hatch white queso containers but had NONE, and we paid the extra $$$ that they charged us to do as requested.
We waited until we got home ~30 minutes later to check our food and discovered multiple mistakes...
