H&J Home Solutions helped me with my deck rebuilt project. We had several kinds of delay from city permit, material ordering and bad weather but the owners, Tad and Rob, always took the care to keep me informed what was happening. They were superbly competent at their trade. However, the intangibles that I appreciated the most was H&J’s integrity, reliability, friendliness, great craftsmanship and fairness (very important when discussing additional costs for extra work and material - you know this always happens because another problem gets discovered!!)

The crew that showed up at my home was very professional, courteous and clean (very important - because you don’t want to have flat tire(s) from the contractor leaving nails in your property). I really appreciated their hard work because they came even in blistering cold winter days and sometimes on weekends.

I think the home improvement industry has a very bad rep due to a lot of irresponsible general contractors, and I generally don’t like to write good reviews for good contractors that I used (because now I got to share them with y’all and they don’t have time for me!!) but Tad, Rob and his crew deserves everything that I said here. Tad turned our studio loft into a beautiful 2 bedroom unit with barn doors, a new backsplash in the kitchen and much more. He also helped repair some damaged interior brick.

There is a bit of an above and beyond part to our renovation story as well. My wife was pregnant when we started the project. Our timeline for completion was just before our baby was due. But our baby came early.
