Village Pizza — Restaurant in Shrewsbury

TRASH!!! I ordered 4 large cheese pizzas to be delivered to my son’s school for his third birthday party. I placed the order online, but called and spoke to the owner the day before as well just to verify that it was all set. He reassured me that my order was all set and would be delivered at the school for 11:15am. At 11:30 when the pizza wasn’t there, I called Village pizza and the owner said that he had run a little late but that the delivery driver had just left the shop so it would be there soon. When the pizza still hadn’t arrived at 11:45am, I called in a panic because I now had 20 hungry preschoolers expecting a pizza lunch. The owner basically told me that he uses a third party delivery service for deliveries and to contact “them” (still unsure who “them” is) because he couldnt do anything to help me. I was obviously upset after just spending $70 on pizza for my one birthday that didn’t show up. He refused to refund me, refused to make my order again, and instead told me that “he was busy and this was not his problem” and hung up on me. I will NEVER do business here again and will warn everyone I know to stay away. This owner is rude, trash and a crook. Don’t waste your time or your money here… you won’t get your food or...

I called to order multiple pizzas, guy on phone hung up on me and was rude! I went down the street and ordered 5 large pizzas, drinks, wings, and desserts. I think the guy on phone was frustrated because they didn't have a margarita pizza so i was asking about alternatives like Greek or other when he hung up on me. Terrible. I just moved less than a block from this restaurant and was buying pizza to leave for all the nice people helping me move. Village pizza guy is a rude grump and I'm glad to know i can cross it off my list. Two other better places near by. Dean park pizza and Shrewsbury pizza both much more friendly...

Absolutely horrible service called for a pick up order and only got the first pizza ordered then was hung up on I called back and said I wasn’t done his response was you ordered a large cheese I’m busy. Talk about rude. I was going to order at least $70 worth of food but will not be spending a dime there.
