I recently had the opportunity to visit Roth’s Fresh Market, and I have to say, I was genuinely surprised by the experience — in the best way possible. Walking in, I expected your typical neighborhood grocery store, but Roth’s clearly sets itself apart with both the quality of its offerings and the atmosphere it creates.
One of the first things that caught my attention was the impressive balance in the types of products they carry. On one hand, they have all the traditional grocery staples that you would hope to find — quality meats, fresh bakery items, familiar snack brands, and a solid selection of everyday essentials. But right alongside these, Roth’s has made a real effort to meet the needs of health-conscious shoppers, too. I was impressed to see a wide variety of organic foods, non-GMO products, and specialty items clearly labeled and easy to find.
The layout of the store made shopping easy and pleasant, and the shelves were neat, clean, and well-stocked. It was clear that someone had taken the time to think about how the store should be organized. Customer service was another highlight; the staff I interacted with were friendly, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be there.
Overall, Roth’s Market offers the best of both worlds — traditional comfort foods and modern health-focused options — without feeling like you have to choose one or the other. I left feeling like I had found a hidden gem...
Read moreHappy New Year but not at Silverton Roths. Went today to buy a big roast and trimmings for a New Years football game dinner. Prepared to spend a lot of money. Had my 11 week old corgi puppy with me. I put her in the cart on my coat. She is clean and learning to socialize to be a therapy dog for hospitalized patients. Other patrons in store made positive comments. Nothing is posted that says animals not allowed. When I asked the employee at the meat counter about roasts, he did not answer me. I asked him again, and he became angry and told me that I couldn't have a dog in the store unless it's a service dog on a lease. That "it's gross you have put a dog in a cart. People put their food in those carts." I asked if there was a rule about dogs and he said he didn't know, but it's "gross you put a dog in a cart" . I felt attacked and humiliated.I have seen others bring dogs into stores and I would not have willingly broken any laws if I had known it's not allowed. I have shopped at this store for nearly 30 years and have never encountered a rude employee. I guess customer service and kindness are no longer part of Roths standards. All the employee needed to do was kindly inform me that animals are not allowed in food stores in Oregon unless they are officially licensed service animals. I would have gladly have returned my puppy to her crate in the car. Assuming good intent is a foundation for good...
Read moreSorry I have to post this! Very disappointed with the situation that I had today. I ordered online for lunch. I arrived after the time I set for pickup. Waited patiently for ten minutes, to basically get ignored by the staff working, never once was asked if I needed anything or any help. After realizing that nothing was or someone was going to do anything I went to customer service. I questioned the gentleman in customer service to explain how the online ordering works, with a blank face he replied " you have an online order" I then show him my email confirmation. He says let's go see where your food is. We arrive at the deli counter to find out that they have given my order to someone else. The now "responsive" deli worker wants to remake my order, this is when I responded with it's too late my lunch break is over! I left without getting what I wanted for lunch, hopefully the person who got my...
