I ordered a sofa in October of 2017. I was told the sofa would be delivered in 4-6 weeks in time for the holidays. I was never once contacted regarding a delay. I called the week before Christmas since my sofa had still not come. I was told the trucks were not delivering again until after Christmas to call the following week. The following week I was told the manufacturer was closed until after the first of the year. I next called the 2nd week of January and was told that a part had not passed QC and it would be another couple weeks. Called in February and was told a different part was the problem and it would be a couple more weeks but I would definitely have it by the beginning of March. It's now been 5 mos so I called again in March and yet another delay. I told them to cancel my order and to please refund my money. I have never once been called by the staff to inform me of any of these delays, I only was told upon me calling them. 3rd Week of March and I was told a certified check would be mailed out to me that week. Same story the following week and the following week. I have been calling every week and continue to get the run around. It's now May 2018, 7 months after my initial order and I still cannot get a resolution. I am done with these people and their lame excuses and now have to pursue legal action. I paid in cash but have my receipt. Maybe grand theft will get their attention. I have since ordered a sofa from a competitor and the sofa was custom built, made in America and delivered in 3 weeks plus they gave me a bigger discount when they heard what I had been thru to finally get a sofa!    Read moreWent in on a Friday and was promised delivery of all the items the next day. Next day comes and we are told they canât deliver everything because they could not find the items in their own warehouse. Theyâre sure it is in stock but they just canât find it.
I asked for a refund of the delivery fee for the inconvenience (we had already removed our old furniture in anticipation of getting the new ones delivered) and I was promptly YELLED at by the owner. The owner, Larry, was condescending, extremely rude, and unprofessional. If theyâre willing to yell at customers, I feel bad for their employees. The delivery drivers and other employees are kind, but if you need any type of customer service, donât expect it from Larry.
I wanted to support a local business and I was initially very excited because they have a lot of sofa options, but after this experience, I will never support this place again. I understand that accidents happen and schedules can be delayed, but they bent over backwards to find excuses for why it happened instead of being accountable and taking this opportunity to show their customer service. If you value being treated respectfully, stay away from this place.
