I just ordered from Big Z's and this is maybe the third time I've ordered from them and I am totally disgusted! The first time I ordered the pizza was perfect. This is what brought me in there for the second time, I ordered the same thing which was pepperoni with extra cheese! Only the second time it was more like a pepperoni with NO cheese. I decided why not try it one more time...Upon pickup I was standing there for a while waiting for cashier to finish up with other customers. When it was my turn he handed me the pizza and asked if I wanted anything with it. So I said ranch and parmesan. He then help someone else then came back to me with ranch then helped another person then came back to me with parmesan. I rush home and discover a cold pizza, not warm, cold! I called the store back immediately to let them know it's not hot. The guy on the phone told me that it's because I took so long to pick it up. . .You never gave me a time frame when I ordered it and I had assumed that even if it did take me 10 minutes to walk over there I would still receive a warm Pizza like maybe it would keep it on the oven to keep it halfway lukewarm!!! Nope... I guess they are okay with serving food at temperatures that could cause food poisoning but hey not every restaurant keeps up with health and safety codes! This guy was so rude on the phone he just kept repeating I took so long to pick it up. I said you sounded busy when I ordered but you actually did not give me pick up time. He argued some more that it was because it took me so long to pick it up. I asked him can I bring it back can you remake it like this is me trying a new place to enjoy pizza is there anything other to be said then blaming the whole thing on me!?!?! He sat in silence. I told him it's ok I will just throw it away and go somewhere else. ... No response from him, we hung up and there is my pizza sitting in the trash! So when Google asks what do you think of big Z's... .š¤ I think that Little Caesars, Round Table, and Vincenzo's all taste better, serve food at normal temprature, and at the very least....trea t people like they are people! What a waist of both of our time, my money, his dedication to it all being my fault, a new customer, and a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe big Z family restaurant was really fun! Was there for a private event with Annndā¦Action! Photo Booth - a birthday party with lots of kids. The restaurant is large enough to have your big group there- or just yourself and a friend. The food selections were vast a mix between pizza and Mediterranean. The food we were eating was all catered for the occasion and it was all really good. The pizza was really, really nice. The owners and staff are very pleasant and willing to help. Nice people. The prices I could see on the board (if it had been a normal visit) seemed reasonable. They have selections of beverages, including beer and wine. Everything was mainly clean and the booths and family tables were in very good condition. However, the video games are a little dated. A couple of them did not work. they had no ambient music/no ceiling speakers (that were on at least). there are several TVs, but they were not on . The carpet is a little worn. The walls could probably use a little paint to spruce things up a bit. The restroom while mainly clean, was very industrial in an old way. There was a water can in one of the stalls I couldnāt figure out and the garbage can was too big for the stall. Small improvements to dress it up a little bit would make it feel more comfortable to use. Besides that; really nice people. very very helpful to the photo booth set up- let us do what we wanted. overall recommend. Itās like our family pizza joint (just as the name says) ! Thanks Big Z Family for being...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is a hard No No NO for me. They hardly have any games... Like maybe 10 at the most. They had a carousel and a car that my nephew wanted to ride, but it wasn't working. No "out of order" sign on it or anything, so we wasted a bunch of tokens on it. They had a candy machine that had candy that was SO STALE... Like rock hard (and I mean ROCK HARD) tootsie rolls. (Last I checked those are supposed to be soft and chewy.) Makes you wonder how long it's been in there... GROSS. But by far the biggest disappointment for me... Was the fact that there was a pistachio shell baked into our pizza. Glad I noticed it right away, but whoever made the pizza didn't notice it? Nor did the server? That's pretty bad if you ask me. Don't bring your kids here. Take them to Chuck-E-Cheese in Thousand Oaks. Trust me, it's worth the drive if you want to have fun. Can't believe this place is still in business. Only giving one star because I have to in order to post a review. But truly i would give this place ZERO...
