Starbucks — Restaurant in Simi Valley

Definitely not the experience I expected. I asked if the restroom had a code and if so, what was it. First thing that comes out of the barista’s mouth is “it’s for customers only”in a particularly despot/condescending way. Like Im some kind of tweaker or homeless. I get it, there’s lots of meth in Simi, but yikes! I explained that I would much rather relieve myself and then proceed to take my time ordering and enjoying my food and drinks. To which they replied “ok, but it is our policy”. Floor inside the store was wet. It did have some signs up. Store was empty. With their attitudes, I wonder why? Proceeded to get only a drink and since I was completely put off by the restroom conversation, didn’t feel like eating or ordering anything further in this place. Ironically, I got asked the tip question when paying. The audacity. The 2 stars are for the fact that my chai was alright. Needless to say, I doubt I will be back...

Update: Megan, their manager took care of their deliveries coming after hours. I am grateful that she worked with Corporate until they changed their delivery schedule to arrive earlier in the day! They are a wonderful neighbor! Please give them your business. They are right off the 118 freeway at the corner of Stearns and Barnard!

Started as a 1 star: Although I am all for the Starbucks being built there, once again they have their delivery truck sitting in their parking lot with its engine running and lights flashing. It is 10:35 PM! This Starbucks was built in and next to residential homes. Sad to say it is not being a good neighbor without consideration of the noise they have brought with their deliveries. I know what it’s like to work there so I never try to make my order complicated, the most complicated things about my order are asking for things like extra foam or an extra pump of syrup and I’m always made to seem like I’m asking for something that’s inconvenient for the worker. It’s like I’m not even ordering some “secret” menu Frappuccino‘s. Also, they never put nitro lid on drinks with cold foam and when I ask for one, I tend to get a response in a slightly annoyed tone.
