I have read a lot of complaints about billing so I have a bit of information pertaining to this. Your insurance company will send you something called an Explanation of Benfits, an EOB if you request it. Some companies send them to you regularly in the mail, even Medicare. You have probably seen them before and just discarded them because you didn't know what they were. This information will tell you what services you received and most importantly if there1 is a discrepancy between hospital billing and insurance. There will be information stating what you are responsible for paying and what you owe the clinic/hospital. If you see something that seems different as far as your providers billing and your EOB, you can call billing to double check why there's a difference. Often the mistake is just a misfiled claim service code. Your physician or the coding department may have made a mistake and your complaint can be rectified. As for refunds, it usually takes between 8 and 10 business days to post to your banking account or a check by mail. Please remember the staff members are human. Humans sometimes make mistakes.    Read moreThe doctors are fine but the billing department needs to be fired. They violate parental rights by not allowing bills to be sent to both parties, claiming it is a violation of HIPPA rights. The parent who was requesting the bill is the person who pays his child's medical bills. This is the only hospital who does this. Also they will not count your co pay and will try and double charge you. I got a bill a year after date of service, insurance denied on March 4, 2021 and now they want to bill me. I know someone else who got threatened with court action after they received a bill 3 years later. This person did not even know they had a bill. I would suggest taking the drive to Mankato or Phillipsburg to get treatment where they have just as good of doctors as...

We have waited 2 weeks now and have heard nothing. I don't know if they are swamped short handed or what. But there is no excuse for this cind of...
